Sun/Desert Hat

The slider clasp that holds the tension on the headband so it fits all head sizes doesn't hold worth a darn. You CAN tie knot it so it stays tight, but this seems like a kludge solution to me. The hat is nice otherwise and is of good materials and someone sewed it up nice.

Very good design for working outdoors in the garden when looking downward as it is one of the few hat designs which protects your neck/back and sides of head and ears from direct sunlight. Will still sweat in this hat. Seems to reflect some of the heat in 95 degree (plus) heat and direct sunlight with that mylar layer. Stitching is good. Reasonable price. Gave 4 stars due to my sweating when wearing this hat. I thought it would prevent or reduce that issue.

The hat is great but the snaps won’t stay together hence it’s useless. I bought the hat for my husband who works outside and has a fair complexion. His neck burns quickly.Too bad.

The brim is to short and there is not ample coverage where the brim attaches next to the neck drop cloth. The brim should be longer and wider overoverlapping the neck coverage drop cloth.

Its light, got it for the grass cutting in the yard, hope to use it on the beach, when i go there.

never gets hot in the sun

got this as a gift to my dad for when he is gardening. he likes it!

looks wierd but provides good sun protection and cooling
