Clockwork Synergy - Perlon Watch Strap Braided Nylon Band

I have a Timex Easy Reader where the watch is 30mm, but the strap is 14 mm, and it always seemed a bit disproportional. I would’ve preferred a wider band. What made it worse was that the band that came with the watch tapered at the ends, so it looked even smaller.This band is the same width all along its length, so it looks a little better. And I wear it at work, so I’m glad to have a nylon strap that might be able to take a beating. I like the fact that it has no holes, and you can poke the little thingy through wherever you want. Because let’s face it, the holes are never in the right spot. One hole is too tight; the next hole is too loose. I haven’t had this long, so if it doesn’t wear well, I will update the review.

This was a replacement for a yellow band which I could not find. I should have gone to Amazon earlier. I ended up replacing 3 watch bands and they were all of good quality...especially for the price.

I picked this up for a Bulova Accutron II Snorkel and so far it is perfect! I don't have any other perlon straps to compare against but it is definitely on par with NATO straps in this price range and the buckle is far more solid than I would have expected. The texture is a little rough and its not as secure against a spring bar failure as a NATO but you can't really hold that against it. It is comfortable, looks great and the price was right! Also, the length seemed normal to me and I don't have an especially large wrist so I'm not sure about the folks trying to modify these...

I wear it daily and I am rough on watches due to work. It is thin, but is strong. Many bands are too bulky for me. The material is woven, so if you get it a bit wet, it dries quickly. I would purchase again.

I must be honest and apologize to those who may have read my previous review (of only a few hours ago), when I had given just one star ...I was negatively surprised at the length of the band and I was ready to shorten it in some way (but certainly I would have ruined it), because I already had a similar strap (black though) but that was of normal length, so I was really convinced that he made a bad purchase.fortunately I first asked for advice from a friend of mine expert in watches and he opened my eyes, explaining that NATO straps are like that and you have to close it by turning back the excess (I include photos to be clearer, because the My written English is not the best ...).Now I am much more satisfied than before, my Avion 1940 watch has a nice strap which enhances its military origins, the only flaw is that the chosen color (brown) is decidedly darker tone of this example in the images of ' ad (see more comparison photos with the black strap that I had already), why do only 3 stars and not 4.The material, although cheap, looks pretty good ... now I really hope that will prove durable ... This band is plastic. The weave allows it to be flexible. However, the stiffness is scratchy and uncomfortable to wear. The edges dig into your wrist. Even when you fit to be loose. The tail after it goes through the buckle catches on things.

I was disappointed to find that because of the way it's constructed, the hard melted edges of the nylon ends up being scratchy up against my skin. I covered one seam with tape on the inside, and turned one of the loops around so the seam is on the outside - looks uglier, but feels more comfortable. Since purchasing this watch band, I've noticed that other nylon watch bands have sewn seams, and would try one of those over getting this again in the future. If you're not dissuaded - my wrists are 5 7/8 inches around, and the band is a great length for me. I love that the woven nylon makes it easy to adjust the watch to the perfect length, and I think it looks pretty nice. Unfortunately, none of that matters to me since I don't want something uncomfortable on my wrist all day.

I had an old Timex watch that my mom had given me in high school or early college years. It had been sitting in my closet, and I wanted to see if it still worked. I changed the battery and was pleased to discover that it’s still ticking; however, I wanted a better-looking watch band since the navy blue one I had was Velcro, old, and frayed looking. I purchased a red Clockwork Synergy nylon band and so far, so good. I was able to get the band through one of the loops (the material is a little stiff). I would suggest being gentle with the band when you try to get it through the loops. There are no holes for the silver buckle tongue, but I was able to push it through the braided design of the nylon. The length is fine and is about the same size as my old band. I love the red color and I think it compliments my watch nicely.
