Can you bake bread with this?

The difficulty is there’s really no way to duplicate how gluten causes bread dough to “sheet” so that yeast bubbles can push against those sheets and cause traditional dough to rise. GF flour is best in cakes, cookies, and quick breads (things like banana bread that are more of a batter than a dough before baked).

What is the expiration of this product if ordered today?

I placed the order in May 2020 and received the flour with an expiration date of Nov 2021. Pretty good.

I see black specs in the flour. Are those bugs or normal?

Hi, I checked both types currently in my refrigerator. Bobs 1 to 1GF and Bobs All Purpose GF flours... no black spots. FYI, I keep mine in the refrigerator as suggested. Good luck
