Ink uneven

I can be a little bit of a pen snob. I am very picky and try out a lot of different pen types, Pilot, Zebra, etc and this has become my favorite. I love the sleek and minimal look of them. I am also known to fidget with my pens a lot and snap off the clip, the metal clip is far more durable than most (I'm looking at you, Sharpie S Gel). I have an inconsistent and sometimes light touch when it comes to writing and this pen writes so smoothly, unlike a lot of others that somewhat consistently have spots that are light from inconsistent pressure. I have also been using small, cheap pocket notebooks with thin paper and after testing 10 different pens, this one bled through the least amount. Which surprised me as it has a deep, rich, dark black. Overall, I'm super happy with this pen and don't see much reason for using any of the others anymore, I just wish the price hadn't gone up so much (they were $11 for a 12 pack when I purchased them last year, under $1 a pen and are now $15 for the same 12 pack).

I bought these pens after hearing such great things about them but they’re really just ok. My main problem is that they skip on anything but really good paper. Even the oils from you hands once coming in contact with the paper will make them skip.
