It does clean the surface!
I’d give this 5 stars but I haven’t been able to do scientific research so I can not completely validate this is not bull crap. What I have noticed was once I rinsed the veggies and fruits, it changed the surface. How deep it penetrates? I’m not 100% sure but this is a decent product and this is my actual review. It has a pleasant smell. I’d recommend it. And it’s not a bad price!

Once You Try It, You’ll Never Skip It
If you care about the quality and safety of the food you’re eating, Veggie Wash is 100% worth it. I won’t go back to just rinsing with water ever again. Highly recommend!
