The media could not be loaded. Mill works great and easy to attach. Heavy duty metal design, with solid construction. Love that it has a milling dial for adjustments! Would buy again, and I definitely recommend. I use it to grind Einkorn berries. To a fine powder flour for baking. Very affordable for a high quality option as well!

I read all the reviews before I purchased this attachment. I was pleasantly surprised after using this four times. One of the problems that I read about was the mixer itself heating up. That did happen but it never got hot enough to stop using it. The first two times I used it I ran it at the highest setting, then ran it through again on four and finally ran it through on the lowest setting. The third and fourth times using the attachment I deleted the first step and I started at four and then took it to the lowest setting of one bypassing the highest setting and it worked just as well. Because I only need 4 cups per loaf of bread, one cup of buds mills down to approximately 2 cups of flour. I generally do 3 cups of buds at a time.Having said all of this, considering a good mill runs $300 to $400 maybe $500, you get what you pay for and for what I do this one works just fine.

Easy to use. Works great for grinding wheat but does not get it to that fine grind like I expected. Can use the grind for bread but not sure I can use it for pasta.

Perfect little grain mill for the home cook who wants to made one or two loafs of bread at a time. Grind a cup of wheat at a time. One cut wheat berries grind to about a cup and half of flour. Ground my wheat without issue and made my first batch of muffins. So yummy!

Don’t buy this. I’m pretty sure it was used and repackaged and it came dirty. Please save your money.

I got maybe 5 uses out of it before it stopped grinding on the finest setting, I was careful to use their recommended tietering instructions for our wheat berries, but after 5 uses it decided it wasn't going to fine grind anymore. I was hoping for better from this.
