I needed these punch numbers for stamping numbers on to lock keys . Did exactly what I needed. This was a good stamp set and recommend this to anyone that needs to identify keys, or something else that needs to be permanently marked. .

My first time using these....works fine

Item received as described. Tested each stamp a few times on cold rolled steel and an 8 oz ball peen hammer. It took 3 strikes to get a decent impression. the first few tries the stamp bounced off the mark and ended up with a "double strike " impression. Switched to a 16 oz hammer and it only took one strike. Wish the stamp had registration marks for easy alignment.

These are really nice, sturdy stamps. I bought the large 8 mm stamps, and they come in a sturdy, wooden box. So there were no issues of broken plastic boxes or difficulty getting the stamps out of the box. All of the pieces were in the set. There were no missing letters or numbers. I used the stamps to stamp numbers and letters into wood for a calendar project that I was doing. They worked well. Nice product.

Great quality and precise machining. The letters are all sharp and clear. I use these to stamp small steel beams. They hold up well after many uses.

Have a bunch of keys you need to keep sorted out or other metal items, this kit is great and compact for all of your marking needs. I own rentals, a lot of rentals, and marking keys are critical for keeping everything sorted out. Just make sure you have a good surface to strike against and I suggest wearing hearing protection as it makes quite the ping when hitting it with a hammer. The other pro tip is to use a shop sledge hammer vs a household hammer. You want the weight to do the work, not a hard swing that can end up with smashed fingers.

I would have given this item all 5 stars, but in using it recently I discovered there is no "X". Instead, I got two "Y's". I think its too late (or I'm just too lazy) to send it back. Otherwise, its pretty good. However, quality control is important. Godspeed.
