Q: Can i get an hdmi cord for the vcr player?

Mine does not have a plug for hdmi, im sure they make adapter cords from rca plugs to hdmi but ive never looked for them.

Q: Does it have a tuner so I can record from the television? Is the remote included? Are the connection cables included?

This is a very obsolete item. When I bought it more than 10 years ago it did include the remote and cables. It does have an analog tuner, so in order to record today's digital broadcasting you will need an digital/analog converter. Be advised that judging by today's standards, VHS image quality (240i) will appear horrible.

no, this model does not... try the Magnavox model mvd22066 (vcr and dvd player/recorder) biggest problem is locating one to purchase
