This seems like a nice, reasonably-priced bike. But then you need to factor in the cost of taking it to a bike shop to be professionally assembled. The assembly manual is lousy. It’s one of those one-sized-fits-all where it gives directions on how to assemble numerous models and you have to figure out which of the instructions apply to your bike and which don’t. Since the bike has also been somewhat pre-assembled, there are also parts of the manual which do not apply at all. My husband and I are usually pretty good with this stuff t neither of I could make sense of it. Now we will be adding to the overall cost to pay someone else to finish the job in order to ensure it’s safe for our kids to ride.

It was a great bike for my 9 year old. I chose the word "was" because just today he said his rear brakes weren't working. No big deal, just do some routine maintenance and get him back on the road. Well after an hour and a half of trial and error tinkering, I noticed that the rear hub was completely shot. The assembly cracked open and the bearings were all missing. We were delivered this bike on April 22, 2022. It is LITERALLY 3 months old. So yeah, it is not worth the money in my honest opinion.

Assembly is a breeze if you have any mechanical inclination at all! Bike looks great, very happy with my purchase this is a great price and looks much sturdier than your typical walmart/target bike for this price range.
