Ceramic Double Wall Insulated Travel Coffee Cup with Slider Lid, Silicone Sleeve & Built-In Coaster, 10 fl.oz (Coffee)

I bought this for carrying my herbal tea around the house without spilling. I have a larger double walled stainless steal mug for morning coffee in my car. This mug is really well made. The ceramic is very thick and the rubber and lid are solid and fit snugly. Really glad I bought it. My metal mug is OK for the car, but I wanted something nicer for my evening tea. Metal cups and tea don’t mix well for me. The ceramic keeps the tea hot enough for the 20 minutes or so it takes me to drink, but it grows lukewarm if you set it down and forget it for too long. So maybe not something that would work in the car for a commute. Just so much nicer to drink from.

Great size for cupholders and grip (enhanced by louvered grip which makes is as slip proof as reasonably expected. Top seals nicely. I only hand wash this one so cannot comment on dishwasher experience - with the grip and top seal working perfectly, why risk high heat side effects?. Thickness nice but will not survive a drop on tile (this is my second one - the first being knocked off counter by accident onto ceramic tile floor. At least the top survived without damage so now i have a backup top should I ever need it. Looks and feels great and overall fully satisfied with the purchase. Note that heat retention and volume are not a strength realistically holds about 10 oz. unless you want to fill close to rim. Heat retention is about the same as any ceramic mug with a little extra due to lid. But it was purchased to fit perfectly into one of those does-it-all reclining chairs, and provide low spill or drop rates, and from those perspectives its scores 10/10. It is a perfect fit into the smaller bottom section, making it secure at any reclining position. Not a drop has come out.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The porcelain cup is what I needed. Other leading brands that are metal have burned my lips, or I cannot drink from them as they stay hot for too long which defeats the purpose. If I made a road trip I would use this mug for drinking and another one to keep the residual beverage hot for later use in the porcelain mug. Wish the lip opening would clip open or shut on top of mug like other brands. It would be 5 stars with that feature.

Positives: Nice looking. Kept coffee warm. Negatives: Held a little less fluid than I expected, because of thick walls and lid sliding inside. Broke first time it was knocked over on a marble counter. Not dropped, not thrown, accidentally tapped on the side while full, and because of the top-heavy shape, it fell over, splitting the ceramic.

My favorite coffee mug. The shape is perfect and easy to hold and the silicone bumper on the bottom is nice and also the one that wraps around the cup is a great and makes the cup feel more secure in your hand. Can only make an 8 ounce coffee in it though and wish this cup also came in a size larger. Keeps coffee hot for quite a while.

Love love love the cup but first time I washed it the ceramic cracked and formed a hole inside it and now it collects liquids in between the double walled insulation. It's unusable because the liquid is a breeding ground for bacteria.

This was purchased as a gift for my fiancé, but she has graciously allowed me to use it a few times. Personally, I wouldn't travel with a ceramic mug, but it's perfect for the home office. I love the fact it looks like take-out coffee. It definitely keeps coffee warm longer than the giant ceramic mug I normally use, although I don't think it's quite as good at heat retention as my stainless travel mug. That said, this mug is nice to drink out of. It has a nice hefty weight and the silicon grip is comfortable in the hand. The silicon bottom is easy to slip off for cleaning, too. Overall, I like it a lot.
