Used this for a 13'x17' shop, ceiling at 14'. 48 cans was just enough to get about an inch and a half on the walls, about a half inch on the ceiling. I probably could have done everything at an inch if I was more careful. It is strong and sticks really well, and a second layer after the first cured was no problem. This stuff is easy to use and a lot of fun. I did the shop in a couple hours, took breaks, checked for gaps that I missed. Some things I did to get the best result I could: -Stored the cans inside for two days before using them to ensure they were warmed up to at least 65deg. -Shook the heck out of them for 20-30sec. -Cleaned the shop really well, as dust free as I could (by no means perfect- there was a lot still on the walls). -Sprayed out the gun with cleaner every six cans, and wiped off the tip with a rag (sprayed with the cleaner). -Kept the spray gun adjusted to very little flow- this seemed to give me a lot more coverage and even spray. -Wear the protective suit, gloves, and goggles at least. I had a good fan that vented the gasses out so it wasn't that bad. -Have fun! I very much enjoyed this job and saved a TON of money doing it myself. It worked better than I expected (I read the same terrible reviews you probably did) and I think it's because I followed the directions and took my time and had fun with it. It isn't perfect, but I am very confident that it will work for my needs (hold some heat in the winter and some cool in the summer). I highly recommend this stuff for jobs this big and smaller. I already ordered more to do my wife's shed and fill some spots I missed in the shop.

Works well as long as your fast and don't get interrupted. Wear a mask but something better than the one they supply you with. Same with the gloves. Cleaner for guns works great. Price is too high but product is good.
