A bit fiddly but worth it.
The pieces on this are the micro blocks. Luckily I haven’t got sausage fingers which would have made it quite difficult to make. The instructions are not as easy to follow as Lego sets, but if you take your time you soon get used to them. For the price this is a very enjoyable make and well worth it to see the finished product.

Micro bricks
Late night order after a few drinks. Didn’t read the description properly so didn’t realise it was micro bricks In the middle of the building at the moment it’s different. Sometimes having to use tweezers but still enjoying the build. Only problem I’m having is working out orientation of the brown bricks. As the printing is very dark in the instructions sometimes have to go onto the next page where the instructions are grayed out to see. Getting near the end and it already looking like I have one brick missing no idea how I can get a replacements.

Absolutely lovely set
Nice set, good quality. Instructions are easy to follow, construction is firm, and the size is perfect. Definitely for teens and adults. Good value for money. I had a great fun and experienced no issues.

A little disappointing.
Firstly, make sure you understand that this is micro blocks (smaller than standard bricks). When I first opened the box I was disappointed to see that the stone base for the statue wasn’t sandstone coloured as the images suggest but instead they are almost bronze like and I think that would make a great difference in the appearance. Whilst building the base I was thinking that this would make a great set for beginners to the “microbrick” but there are a few things that might put a beginner off. On several occasions I found myself having to force pieces together (yes they were in the right place). This can be exaggerated in fragile places like the head and arms. Then there is the instruction manual, I don’t need glasses yet I still needed a magnifying glass to better check which brick was which. But if you are the type of person that has the patience required then I think it’s a great little set and it’s good value for money. If you see yourself doing more “micro” sets I would suggest getting some tweezers, you can get special ended ones for a decent price (see pictures).

Cheap for a reason
You get what you pay for! The pieces do not fit together correctly. Couldn't get past the first few pages - the base pieces don't sit flush at all so it's all out of shape. Bought for my daughter's 16th - very disappointed!

Took longer than expected to complete (that's a good thing though)
Took this on holiday (Anglesey for a week) and was expecting to finish it by the time we came home. It actually took a couple more weeks to finish, not because it was difficult but because there's so many pieces. Don't get me wrong, it was quite fiddly at times. The little orange tool provided is excellent, it really helped. There are also quite a lot of extra pieces just in case. Which is good as a quite a few times one of the tiny bits would ping and go flying onto the floor. The instructions are okay but some might need to use a magnifying glass. All in all, well pleased with it.

Sadly not a hit
My thirteen-year-old son initially tackled this with great enthusiasm, but found the tiny bricks and sparse instructions a little frustrating and it sadly got abandoned quite early into the build. Compare this with the other big name brick manufacturer where the kits are always completed with great enthusiasm and you start to realise why you pay a premium for it.

This mini brick White House set is really well made and looks great when displayed! I would say up front that this is a intermediate to expert kind of build due to the complexity and size of the mini/micro blocks, so it might not be ideal for all ages. My husband is a huge fan of these kinds of block building sets, so he was happy to have a fun new project. He completed this in about 6 or 7 hours, and says that although it was difficult and hard on his fingertips (due to the micro blocks) it was a very fun build to do. The instructions were clear and simple to follow, but the bags weren't separated so he had to go searching for the correct amount of (teeny tiny) blocks to find what he needed. He really liked the challenge of the build as well as how well made and sturdy the blocks are themselves. And it looks pretty cool! Besides making his hands sore, he also noted that sometimes it was hard to place some blocks because of how cramped some areas get, and its not easy to move the bricks if you placed them in the wrong spot! Overall though, this is a nice challenging build that's perfect for those that love detailed building kits!

This is the kind of kit I like - one that I can build to remember a trip that I once took, so it's a souvenir as well as a fun build and an item to display. This little White House is recognizable, even though I would say that the proportions of the porch are off, and the size of the plants throw off the look. I wish that the central porch area was as accurate as the wings are. However, the instructions are pretty standard for this type of mini brick kit and were easy enough to follow for an adult with some experience, and it was fun to put together.

The pieces for the Eiffel Tower are so tiny, the single blocks are nearly impossible to place. The instructions are so hard to follow, at one point I had to give up because I had no idea what it was telling me to do. I bought this for my 9 year old and I couldn't even assemble it.
