Norpro Melamine 1017 Grip-EZ Mixing Bowl, 4 quart, Yellow, 3.8 liters

Love this 4qt melamine mixing bowl, largest I have seen in this type. Great lemon yellow color brightens my mood when I’m using it. Rubber round ring on base to help prevent slips during mixing process. Shipper delivered as promised, packaged well with no damage during shipping, nice price for this size bowl. Easy clean up, can be hand-washed or in dishwasher. Microwave safe for melting purposes, which I’m glad since it often saves clean up from yet another bowl.

The color of my purchase is a lovely butter yellow. it's its well made and sturdy, Easy to handle with endless uses. I have osteoarthritis, and the handle is just perfect for any hand.

ADDENDUM 6/04/2017 - I happened to read another Amazon customer's comments about having difficulty removing a glued label from the inside of a plastic product. Me Too! I still love this bowl but I wanted to put a bug in the ear of the manufacturer. Why would you want to affix the product information paperwork with major league glue to the inside of the bowl? What a nightmare! I had to soak the bowl in hot, soapy water for some time and then still had to scrape the partially softened label off with a plastic kitchen spatula and I wound up scratching the bowl anyway. You have a great product - don't gum it up! ADDENDUM 9/06/17 - My sister-in-law loved - and attempted to steal my bowl - so I ordered one for her. Clever girl figured out that the label issue could be handled by spraying it with WD-40. Thought I'd pass along the good words to prospective cooks. Just what I wanted. Large 4 quart melamine bowl in buttercup yellow with a sturdy handle and pour spout. It is light weight, you can use a hand mixer easily. Wonderful for mixing cookie batter or pouring pancake batter. Says OK for microwave but I don't think I would as this type of plastic may warp. Shouldn't be a problem in dishwasher. It looks and feels old fashioned with it's design but does it one better being super light because of the melamine material. I would certainly go back to this brand and seller again.

This is our new go-to mixing bowl. The color is bright and true to the photo, it's sturdy and well-made. Having the right utensils is so important to getting things done in the kitchen. It's a bit heavier than I expected, but I'm very happy it is. It's a joy to clean. No rough surfaces. All the edges are smooth. Just an overall good investment.

Beautiful color! Good size for mixing! Light weight; a little too 'thin', but overall, very nice bowl. Hoping it will last for a long time! I'm glad I purchased it.

After desperately needing a new set of mixing bowls back in 2010, I purchased this one because of the pour spout, great handle,& the good grip ring on the bottom. From the first time I used this bowl,I fell in ❤️ love with it. I used it over &over for 14 years! Then we moved and alas it was lost, and I felt lost without it.Looked at all my usual stores and couldn't find it. I wasn't even sure if Norco even made it still. Finally ,found it here at Amazon!!! My favorite Norco mixing bowl,in my favorite Yellow color, with all the best features. I bought two!! You will be very happy to use this great Mixing bowl in your kitchen too!!!

Awesome bowl. I call it my Super Bowl. You do have to be careful going from cold items to hot, as it can break. Pancakes, jello, bread, you name it, when you need a good bowl, this is it.
