Q: Can it cover upto 2nd floor?

Yes surely but don't expect it to penetrate thick or wide walls, 5Ghz one will not help much but 2.4 will go for sure. You can go for Archer C6 or you may like C9. If you have money to spend on routers then contact manufacturers directly, they will help you to setup a mesh routing around your complete home.

Please do not buy not working more than a month and service center is pathetic

Yes . Im using bsnl fiber net connection. They gave a modem but their router sucks. Ordered tp link and i got blazing fast speeds
