If this is the type of lamp you're looking for, this is just about perfect. Functionally it works as advertised with the five brightness levels applicable to each of the three color choices. The stem has controls on it but you're going to use the much easier remote, which also has a convenient 20%, 50% and 100% one-touch switch. But what makes it so great is the design. It is slim line to the extreme, very nice looking in a contemporary design way, being unobtrusive to the point of near invisibility in my room, and taking up almost no space. It is light in weight, stable and easy to move around with one arm. Even better is its size. The extra long neck (the hard stem is 39" and the flexible neck at straight up height is 32") gives it a height that is higher than many other such lamps I've looked at, and gives it good functionality in various uses (over the dining room table, over a sofa, etc.). Assembly was easy, but you have to know what to do when there's too much wire to screw in the top section of the stem. Just pull the white wire at the base and it removes the otherwise unworkable slack in the black wire inside the stem sections. I only got it yesterday and used it last night, and if anything changes I'll update this review, but for now I think this is a great design.

Very happy with purchase. The light arrived as scheduled and was in perfect condition. Although it's only a 9w LED it gives off plenty of light. I purchased it primarily as a reading light to sit next to my recliner. The remote control gives plenty of options for light level and "warmth" of the light. It also has a "night light" feature that I was unaware of. Despite some reviews, the light was extremely easy to put together. If it took 2 minutes I'd be surprised. Base is heavy enough to insure solid support, no need to worry about it tipping. Neck flexibility is great, you can bend it to fit most any need. No negatives at all. Great product and would recommend without hesitation.

I got this lamp for an office, the one I got was 9W and IT is perfect lightning my desk witha very great deal of selections, position, brightness, color, etc the lamp is good because does not use any space on top of my desk. HOWEVER, I need more brightness to iluminate the surroundings in that way I do not need to turn the main lights that are those old white fluorescent lights that at the end of the day make you feeling more tired. When I am away from my desk can dim it low or turn it off because it comes with a handy remote control. Assemble was very easy, all the parts seem to be really well made and metal. I change mine for the 12W and I am very pleased with it. I will buy them for presents becuase it is really useful. I definitely recommend this lamp to my fellow buyers,

We're happy with the three lamps we bought. The lamps have different kinds of light from night, warm and cool. We like the light spread of the lights. They're a little unsteady on carpet. They don't consisitently turn on at the lamp, so the remote has to be used, which is a drag in the middle of the night. That being said, I think they're a good value for the money.

I have recessed lighting which wasn’t good enough for reading. I bought this lamp and it’s fantastic. Easy to put together, took me about 5 min. Nice brightness levels, easy to adjust. I am in school and doing a ton of reading. This helps me with eye strain. My only wish was that the cord was a bit longer. Other than that that it’s great. I am buying a second one for bedroom reading.Also it looks nice and is unobtrusive. So fits a wide range of decor. The base is sturdy and it will not tip over.

I love this lamp! I was a little skeptical when it arrived, in that it’s packaged in a slim, small box. Note to self: good things come in small packages. Setup was a breeze, it works beautifully, and it fits perfectly in a small space behind my recliner. The remote control is easy to use, and clinched the deal for me - I don’t have to fumble to find a knob at the back of a burning hot metal shade. This is so cool. I’ll be able to use the different brightness levels for reading as well as for crafts. My husband didn’t know I’d ordered it, and when he saw me putting it together, he got curious. He sat in my recliner, and played around with alllllll the buttons on the remote control, and declared that he wanted one too. Mine arrived this morning at 9. By 9:30, I’d ordered the second unit for him. Happiness is a good reading lamp with a remote control.

We've used this floor lamp for over a week and find that it does exactly what we need it for. I use it for a desk lamp hanging over a computer. The light covers the desk and makes it easy to write and read documents on it. The fact that the light brightness is adjustable allows one to use the setting they wish. Depending on the need, one can adjust the brightness and color of the light. Both the remote and switch on the lamp stand are easy to use and do in fact work. The red power button on the stand remains red whether the light is on or off. But, while it is easy to see, it does not produce a night light that in anyway floods the room. You don't even realize it is on. You only have to lightly touch the power switch and the light turns on or off as directed.

Simply Fantastic! Arrived as stated (and in this well thought out packaging) and was installed within 10 minutes using absolutly no tools! It would have gone together more quickly had I figured out how to lay the lamp on its side when putting the pieces together. I ended up doing on the couch to account for the base!The only thing I wish it had, but knew going in it did not, is a way to control it through voice command wall plugs. Once the power is off the lamp must be turned on; unlike an old style lamp. Illumination is great, remote control is a remote control (overcomes my voice desire) and flexible tube very easy to bring into position when light needed and even easier to return to ‘hide position’ in a crowded home office. Five stars even though it can’t hear me!
