BPSなら他のモデルを
BPSのBK06を買って予想外に良く、これも買って見たが少し残念だった。まずBK06ほどの切れ味がない。ミラー仕上げのためかバフ掛けが強く、刃先に小刃が鈍角についていて研ぎ直した。鋼材は良いので研げば非常に良く切れます。次にハンドル。やはり他のレビューにもある通り細いです。文化包丁程度なので力が入りづらいです。せっかく良い材質の木なのに残念です。鞘はBK06と全く同じ物でインナーは入ってないものの非常に良い作りです。入りにくければやかんの湯気を当てれば楽に入って型を付けれます。フルタングがどうかはどうでもいいです。量産しやすいからで売り手の都合の売り文句です。こんなちっぽけなナイフで薪割りもへたくれもないものです。比較的安価で革と木と鉄でできた使うにつれ風合いを楽しめるナイフなら同じBPSのほぼ同じ値段で買えるHK5をお勧めします。刃は大きくなりますが少しだけ握りやすいです。
