Mark Knopfler Guitar Styles - Volume 1. (Guitar Recorded Versions)

I have not had the opportunity yet to put my hands on my guitar and practice any of the pieces included in the book, but I can say it is the most complete and detailed guitar score (tab + real notes) I have ever seen so far. I am therefore eager to buy Vol 2., which unfortunately seems to be unavailable. I wish Amazon push the Publishing company to re-print Vol 2 asap, to make me happy...

i was very disappointed in the book. i expected some insight into mark knopflers fairly unique style of playing from mark himself. instead i got a review of his guitars!!!! maybe that is what the title is supposed to indicate. anyway i still have no more idea of how to play mark knopfler style than i did before

英語が分からなかったので、なんとなく使用しているギターやアンプについてのムックだと思って購入したところ・・・楽譜（タブ譜）でした。 ギターに触れているのは最初の数ページのみ・・・。 まあ分からないで購入したので星３つも４つも何も無いのですが・・・。 同じ様な方がいたらと思い、書いておきます。

This book is for the intermediate to advanced guitarist. This is so very much more complete and accurate than the typical guitar/vocals/piano chord book. For instance, "Sultan's of Swing" has all 3 guitar parts. I have been working on the lead part for many, many months. It is absolutely accurate. It is so much fun and so very rewarding to play the guitar parts correctly as found in this book. Each score has so much to offer the guitarist who is willing to put forth the effort to get it right. My advice would be for one to really take his time and study, study, study each song in order to get the most from this book. What's the rush to learn something anyway? I would highly recommend this book for the serious guitarist. I am really glad that I have one.
