Warm white and excellent colour-rendering. No flicker. Almost indistinguishable from halogen
I haven't tested the dimming feature, but for basic high quality illumination, it's pretty good. Colours are rendered almost identically to with a halogen lamp; luxurious burgundy/red fabrics retain their vibrance. Unlike some other lamps, this one is free from 100Hz flicker :-) (It seems a lot of people don't notice, but I find the flicker in many LED lamps causes me to see everything strobing, which is stressful and can even put me off balance - this one is fine). I can't vouch for the lifetime yet; my limited experience with other Philips LED GU10 lamps is that they haven't come close to their 15000 hour rating.

As close to Halogen you’ll get from LED.
A high quality LED bulb as close to traditional halogen that I’ve seen. But it seems the odd one doesn’t last. Although free replacements are available under warranty.

Great colour
I had the bulbs in my living room for about 2 weeks so can't say how they preform over time, but for now colours of objects in my living room look noticeably better than in the corridor where I have cheap bulbs. Photos taken there look better as well.

Colour is true, but it flickers, reliability is spotty
The colour rendering of these bulbs is indeed top notch, and basically indistinguishable from halogens, so this part of advertisement is not a lie. However these bulbs *do* have a flicker to them, fairly high frequency and smooth, but quite pronounced (see 960 fps recording yourself). Also one of 2 bulbs I had failed in month - due to bad quality of solder which attaches LED to the driver board which cracked under thermal stress. I've re-soldered it, but shocking to find such deficiency in "professional" moniker expensive bulb.

Excellent bright spot
I wanted a brighter spot gu10 for a task light and hoped for better colour rendering too. This Philips led delivers both. Note that the high CRI is not a guarantee of good colour rendering because it’s an old standard that was created for fluorescent lights and LEDs can score well and still look poor because they have different strengths and weaknesses compared with fluorescent tubes. It’s time manufacturers stopped using CRI. That said, this Philips does look better than the six year old lamp it replaced. It’s much brighter but the same wattage, so a good choice.
