Works fine but has minor differences
A pretty good replica of the original cord for my Bose AE2 headphones. Visually, they look almost identical to the original, but the strain reliefs seem a little less rubbery and flexible than the original. Maybe this means they will be less reliable, but they seem like they should be more than good enough to keep my headphones going another couple years. The cord is actually about a bit shorter than the original cable for the AE2-- a little over 4 feet where the original was almost 5.5 feet. This doesn't bother me, but this may be an issue for some. Also, the jack into the base of the headphones seemed like it went in a bit rough, but it is entirely possible that after more than two years of constant use the plastic in my headphones has warped a bit.Minor gripes aside, pretty much anything is better than a broken headphone cord.

No clips???
I received my QC3 replacement cable and it functions perfectly. I did not receive the clips that were to be included in the purchase however.

Works Perfectly (with a trivial issue) BUT Annoying Emails from Vendor
After spending $300 for Bose Quiet Comfort 15 headphones some years back I found out my model has been discontinued. Discontinued as well was the headphone/iPhone accessory by Bose leaving no legitimate option for millions of 15 owners???. So, this item looked like a good replacement and I could always return it.I received the package promptly by US Mail, and it looked and felt exactly as my original headphone cord in every way (and was even labeled Bose). The first thing I noticed was the silver retaining clip was pushed into its opening and did not spring out to hold the cord tightly to the headphones like it is supposed to (minus one star) but yet the fit was perfect and no way will the assembly ever fall out since it plugs into the headphones firmly and it's a tight fit. Rather than dealing with sending it back for a hidden non-functional trivial issue I decided to keep it.In all my testing the first day, everything works perfectly (e.g. the microphone, audio, volume, phone calls, etc.) And you would never know this is a knockoff because it is EXACTLY like the original, so close I thought this might be a discontinued leftover vs. a knock-off. I'm crossing my fingers on trouble-free continued use. But, "It Is" has been barraging me with emails, FIVE the day before yesterday, THREE last night, asking me to write a good review (for a 50% promo discount on the second batch of emails). Of course it's all in broken English with grammar and typos? everywhere. For these annoying emails (one reminder to review would have been fine) I subtract a star (and if I get any more today, this will go down to one star).

Not Quite Stock, But Pretty Good
Just got these a couple days ago to replace a cable that my dog chewed. Lucky for the dog, it was only the cable. :)This cable fits nicely and does the job so far. My only complaint, which isn't really a complaint, is the fact that the original Bose cable used a must softer and flexible cable. If you own a pair of Bose headphones, you will know what I mean. Bose uses a soft rubber on their cables and it is something I am quite fond of. These use a standard headphone cable and while that is fine, I worry about long term use. I will update this review if/when they start to short out.

Great replacement product for Bose QC15
I was truly worried about purchasing a product that was manufactured by someone other than the original manufacturer but I took a chance. This piece looks like the original part, it fits into the QC 15 model headphones just fine, and I have had no feedback, or static issues using this part. It comes with a wire clip but I had no need for it but that was a nice added addition for someone who needed it. For the record, I will be purchasing another one just in case I fray the wire again from usage.

Functional, but hardly stellar
This product is a functional solution for anyone whose original OEM cord sustained some wear and tear over the years (as mine did). It meets the minimal requirements that I was looking for: (1) It was compatible with my Bose QC15 headphones (2) The audio/music quality would be comparable to the old OEM I had. Apart from a slight static sound that occurs when rotating the headphone jack while it is plugged into my iPhone, this item is satisfactory on both counts. However, I do miss the mic, and especially the volume controller, that my original cord came with. I still find myself using my left hand to feel for the volume control only to realize it is sadly no longer there. This item is okay, but I would suggest looking for an alternative model that includes a volume controller if you are in the habit of making use of that function in your original cable - having to adjust to the newly limited functionality is more of an adjustment than you might suspect, and it inevitably makes this item feel slightly disappointing at times.

Practically Perfect in every way!
These are the exact item we were hoping to find. I bought the headset for this cable YEARS ago, and now my kid uses it constantly. So needless to say this wire wore out. We decided on this set, because of the little clip that comes with it. Super cool feature, and the wire connections work great, and the clip easy to install and use. I am very pleased with this product, and shipping was quick and very well packaged. I would definitely order this again when needed. Thank you for offering a wonderful replacement product, you're a lifesaver!

Satisfied with fast delivery, great initial quality, but didn't last 3 months...
I bought this in early August as a replacement for my headphone cable that was eventually severed from long-term wear and tear. It arrived surprisingly quickly and worked as it was supposed to, which I was very happy about. What I wasn't particularly happy about was that eventually the flex part of the connector piece that goes into the headphones became detached from each other, so there was exposed wire. Luckily it didn't affect the quality of sound... initially. Just last week, it began to only produce sound in one side, so now I have to purchase a new cord. This was a bit of a downer, because I expected it to last much longer than these did (two and a half months).All-in-all, I was satisfied with delivery speed and initial quality. I was not satisfied with how long they lasted before needing to be replaced. Also personally, I do sort of miss the mic featured in the official Bose brand cord.
