I'm not sure which is correct. I do know it fits perfectly in my camper.

I don't think so, unless they come in different widths and get heavier. I will say it is too heavy for I would want in a backpacking, primitive camping - where I had to carry it all day.

What is the R rating of this mattress?

I don’t know, but I just recently used it for 4 nights and it did not lose any air, if that is helpful…

Can I use an electric air pump on this?

yes, but it has no specific adapter - your pump needs a couple of different sized nozzles probably.
