Human Physiology: An Integrated Approach Plus MasteringA&P with eText -- Access Card Package (6th Edition)

I rented this book, needing the access code that comes with it for my class this semester. As most people know, Amazon usually can't guarantee that an access code will come with the book you order, so I took my chances with it and ordered it anyway. I was delightfully surprised to see that when I opened the box, the book was not only in brand new condition, enclosed in shrink-wrap, but the access code was right there along with it, completely unopened and never before used! And for SUCH a great price, this was seriously the deal of the century. Thank you!

The diagrams and figures in the book are very useful and interactive. The complementary text is well categorized under sub-headings and explains the concepts beautifully and clearly. The running problem that runs over the course of the chapter provide good examples of the application of the concepts in real-world problems and the critical approach used to tackle them.

I ordered this book as a rental, because it was the best deal I could find. It was supposed to have Mastering A & P access with it, but it didn't. There was no Mastering A & P access code anywhere. I had to go ahead and purchase it at the last minute, because I was out of time. My class had already started, and I needed the textbook and the MAP. I haven't had time to try to find a phone number or an email anywhere to contact you guys about it. I had to get the Mastering A&P on my own, which was another $66. I ordered this book from you, so that I wouldn't have to pay that extra $66. For as much as I paid for the rented textbook from you, and the MAP's $66, I could have had the set from the bookstore where I go, for the same amount of money, plus I could have had it immediately, plus I could have owned the book. Needed this book for a college class, and even though the class wasn't my favorite, the book was a great help. Very well-written and contained excellent mapping constructions for each topic the book covered, even ATP production. Best physiology book I could have had!

The book is in perfect condition and really detail. A keeper for science field major. One thing off is that the access code may not be compatible with the software of the school.

Good textbook, but who really reads textbook reviews? You either buy what your prof told you or not. I'd rate this a "buy"

Good intro text, using for 300-level "foundations of physiology" course. Good presentation, readability. Recommend getting a used previous edition of Boron's "Medical Physiology" as supplement for more details on specific pathways.

Fast delivery and came exactly as expected. A good price for the textbook and because it was new codes were included.
