These containers are perfect for all kinds of snacks! I love that the stainless steel is lightweight compared to glass containers but I can still avoid using a plastic container. The lids are definitely silicone, I've squeezed them and there isn't a white stretching area that some people mention with other WeeSprout silicone products (like their compartment toddler plates) which would be indicative of it not being fully silicone. Other reviewers have complained about the lids being hard to close - I will say it takes some getting used to but it is not difficult by any means once you understand how it works. Start on one side with the lid lip under the metal rim and work your way around, it's not hard. Also, these lids are definitely secure and spill proof, which is necessary for toddler snacks and being able to throw these into your bag on the go. I would highly recommend these containers and I will be purchasing them again once I am in need of more snack containers as our family grows. UPDATE: I ordered another set with the metal lids (the silicone lids were not available at the time for whatever reason, which I thought was odd) and at first I liked the idea of all-metal containers because even though silicone is far better than plastic, it is still a synthetic material. However, the metal lids are not useful at all and I'm finding myself avoiding using the metal lids. The small lid is so hard to get off of the container while the large lid barely stays on and basically falls off if you turn the container with crackers in it upside down and shake a little. I'm finding that the metal lids are very unreliable and more stressful to use than the silicone lids (which are straightforward, secure, and easy to use). It looks like they have reverted back to only offering the silicone lids, which is great. Avoid the metal lids.

Just received these great little containers. I was delighted to find that outside of the Amazon bag, they were all plastic free - individually wrapped in reusable or compostable tissue paper inside their cardboard box! Though we have yet to use them, the silicone lids fit snuggly and securely but come off without too much trouble. I will try to update after we use them (for my niece's school lunches), but they seem like they will hold liquids in well. They also nest, which is great for space saving storage. 😀 So far, I would definitely recommend these for plastic-free, reusable, to-go/packed lunches - especially those smashed into the backpack of a teenager! They also look like they will be easy to clean - by hand or in the dishwasher.

Love these containers. Use them for everything.

Update: The metal lids came loose but they kindly sent me a new set with silicone lids and they workd perfectly fine! Happy with customer service. This set of all stainless steel food containers is sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. It's a great alternative to plastic containers for kids' snacks. However, the lids tend to come loose after a few uses, making them less than ideal for leak-proof storage. I wish the lids were screw-on for better security.

The container is good, but I am very disappointed with the silicone lid. I just received it today and I found black stains that look like mold, both on the inside and outside of the lid. Even after thoroughly washing and scrubbing, the stains won’t come off. I am very concerned about the hygiene and safety of using this product and I would not recommend it. Their customer service is good though. The seller reached out to offer a refund and I have received it in about 2 weeks.

These are great for foods that are liable to leave odors or stains with tupperware. Very sturdy, and dishwasher safe. Effective at keeping produce fresh longer. ****I knew they would be smaller but they were much smaller than I had expected. Definitely double check sizing to make sure it'll work for what you want!***** My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would like to point out that I would buy a bigger version in a heartbeat but this is the only size they had when I bought these. I'm not deducting a star because I miscalculated the size but more so because, there's simply not a lot of things you can use a container this size for. So please do make a bigger version! These really are wonderful quality!

Loved the neutral grey color and stainless but the lids and metal rim will without a doubt grow mold, especially here in Australia where nothing ever completely dries. immediately. Also so expensive for what they are.

Muy bonitos y de muy buena calidad

These containers are fantastic! We tried several other sets like this and this was one of the only ones my daughter could actually seal on her own. Sizes are ideal and the quality is good. They do not leak in her lunch bag and after some time of using them there is no wear or rust.

Lid on 2 out of 3 are a bit too loose
