Happy with the quality. Very rich umami. Very fragrant compared to other I have tried including korean and japanese. 3rd time ordering. Prefer this brand's Donko version for its thickness (plump)

I lived in Japan and very familiar with shiitake from Kyushu and this product did not disappoint. It's a bit pricey but a little goes a long way. The texture is very meaty, not thin and flabby like a lot of other dried shiitakes. The flavor (umami) is excellent. I'm grateful to the vendor and Amazon that I can buy dried shiitake from Japan. Hope you keep it in stock.

Ottimi funghi dal sapore intenso. Tra i tanti funghi disidratato che ho preparato questi sono i migliori. L'odore intenso una volta ammollati in acqua fredda si sente, per ovviare al problema ho messo la quantità necessaria in un vaso di vetro con coperchio e coperti di acqua li ho riposti in frigorifero come da istruzioni. Aggiunti ai ramen a pezzi e cotti hanno sprigionata un profumo e gusto unici.
