Perfect for cooking pizza on the grill
Love the pizza stone!! We have been using it cook pizzas on the grill. We have had learned through trial and error on the best way to use it. For us we put it on the grill and warm up the pizza stone as we warm up the grill. We found that a thinner crust works better than some of the self rising frozen pizzas. We thaw the pizzas before putting them on the stone. We purchased a 16inch and it fits on our Weber Spirit grill. So far it had been durable and has done a great job cooking pizza!

Best pizza stone on the market for residential use
I own over a half a dozen stones and make a lot of pizza from scratch. This is the best quality finished stone I have ever seen outside of a pizza parlor. Seasoning a large thick stone was a challenge but well worth it. After 8 months of weekly use in 500 degree heat, it works well. This stone fits perfectly in my existing oven rack and I can easily cook 2 medium to large pizzas at the same time.

this thing is huge and awesome.. MAKE SURE you measure the inside of your oven to ensure that it fits. i left about an inch clearance on all sides of the stone to the oven walls which works out great. i've had no problems with cracking. i make crusty bread which means i heat my oven to 500 degrees F and let it hold that temp for at least 45 minutes before putting the dough on parchment paper directly on the stone. i also lightly spray water on the dough and stone to get some steam in the oven. my bread gets a wonderful rise and gets a wonderful crunchy and chewy crust. yup the stone is somewhat heavy, it's supposed to be.... not sure why some of the reviews complain about that. it's stone, duhhschleprock

Excellent pizza stone
I've purchased 2 of these stones so far, as a bottom shelf for my Aga's warming and simmering ovens. They fit perfectly, and are hands down a better quality than other brands I have purchased in the past. They came packaged well and arrived in a timely manner with no chips or cracks as my other stones did. I highly recommend. They are a great value, and worth the few extra dollars they cost.

Perfect for open baking sourdough and pizza
This is the perfect size to put into the oven for baking breads like sourdough and pizza. I can fit at least 3 to 4 loafs of sourdough and open bake them perfectly. I wanted a stone that was as large as a rack in my oven and this is pretty close to filling one rack. The quality is good and thick so it is a bit heavy. There's no smell and it's easy to wipe off clean (not supposed to wash with water). It gets very hot so it's good for baking breads and pizzas in the oven or even on the grill. Works great for me.
