DC Comics Ultimate Character Guide, New Edition

I needed a book for reference in some art work. DC characters are my favorite & it’s cool getting to know those that I don’t know. The price on this book was very good compared to others. It’s great quality in every way. One point is that it’s much smaller - thinner - than I had expected. That’s just my issue. They cover most the uDC Characters but it’s not as thorough as the larger mega-pages books I have on other graphic novel/comic characters. Regardless, the book is a hard cover-like the really hard school book type covers with the sharper edges, ha! Perfect for my book shelf - the art, the descriptions, the layout are all excellent and it has helped me with the projects which I needed it.

I, although already knowing a lot of the characters, (or thinking I did), bought this because it seemed interesting. Maybe save me some time on researching and reading. Best hopeful purchase I’ve gotten in a long time! This book has beautiful writing and drawings, over 200 characters that I guarantee even a comic fanatic doesn’t know completely of. I have no complaints. The book itself was in peak condition, and what it contained is enough to keep you interested for hours! As if the drawings and descriptions weren’t enough, they include a story from the comics *and* a small imput of details about the characters! (height, hair color, age, real name, etc.) If youre a casual enjoyer or a DC fanatic, I highly recommend this book to you! (Small note, this book isn’t small. If you’re getting this to easily travel with, make sure you have a big bag 😂 if you do, it’s all good!)

I have really enjoyed this book. This book has helped me learn evan more about the DC universe. That i don't know about after all this time of being a big fan of the DC universe.

Worth a better understanding of DC characters.

The Character Guide gives a little blurb on each page of the character as well as some of their alliances & whatnot. The full page artwork is stand-out and I like how up to date this all is (Rebirth era and forward). It's great to pick up from time to time and peruse.

If superb heroes are your thing then this book is excellent. Obviously aimed at kids. I'd never heard of most of the characters but that's no surprise as I couldn't be less interested. Excellent quality book, perfectly proportioned for a small person.

Great art work and descriptions of the characters. Fun to read and look up characters with my kids when watching DC shows!
