To get the desired result ie. protect the surface and get increased slip and slide, let it dry overnight. However, in a pinch, putting box fans on the area will generally expedite drying time (3+ hours)and still allow the sealer do what it does so well

Q: Will this work for 60 grit sanded down old formica dinner table that will be top coated with Behr paint and primer and then stonecoat epoxied?

Hi Jim, PRO-999 Rx-35 is formulated to seal porous surfaces like drywall and joint compound. As Formica is a non-porous, sealed surface, PRO-999 may not be the best primer option for this project.
