Be careful if address is on the ocean coast or edge of lake
Works great if the subject address is in the center of hardscape. Gave to two friends, one who lives on the beach and another friend who lives on a lake. Results is a puzzle that is half blue and virtually impossible to complete

Quality is poor
So unhappy with this puzzle. My puzzle arrived containing just tiny light and dark grey puzzle pieces, very tiny and difficult to enjoy when piecing together. The aerial view is poor quality and much more than 1 mile out. It looks as if it's a view from outer space and hard to make out anything visible or recognizable. Truly disappointed and the price does not come close to the quality of materials and product you receive. I thought it would be in color, closer up and a nice keepsake. Never expected to receive this kind of poor workmanship. There's nothing to enjoy here as a memory.

Don’t be put off by only 400 pieces
This puzzle is as challenging as any 1000 piece puzzle. It had to come from the UK, unfortunately, because I could not find a US made puzzle that wasn’t either a map, or a satellite view without the detail I wanted. This is exactly what I hoped for; I can even pick out my sister’s car in her driveway. The house shaped center piece of the actual address is a cute idea, as well. If, however, you are not a ‘puzzle person’ and the idea of spending hours putting a jigsaw puzzle together doesn’t excite you, then this is not the puzzle for you. For us, it was perfect. Even knowing every street and landmark in the neighborhood, it took a surprising amount of effort to complete. It was a perfect Christmas day activity for us!

Very satisfied with the puzzle I purchased
The puzzle I received had good clarity and I was satisfied with this product. The aerial image of the address I sent them was taken in 2012 and I wish it had been a more current image. I was still pleased with this puzzle.

It took a long time to arrive (shipped from UK) but it looks great and is packaged nicely.
We purchased this as a gift. It took a long time to arrive but it was within the window promised. The box wasn't sealed so we were able to look inside before wrapping it up. The recipient's house was on a house-shaped puzzle piece and a paper printout of what the puzzle looks like (with the house at the center) was included. All of the cardboard pieces were in a nice cloth bag. Since we gave it as a gift, I can't say anything about how hard the puzzle is, how well the pieces fit together, or how sturdy the pieces are.

A cheap, low-quality "puzzle" bordering on a scam.
My wife is very into jigsaw puzzles these days and also hasn't been to her hometown in several years since her family moved to another state. I wanted to get her something special for the holidays and came across this hometown puzzle and thought it was a perfect match. You had the option to either pick a standard map or a satellite photo. I chose the satellite because the map seemed a little sparse. First off, I ordered this a month before the holidays, yet it said it wouldn't arrive until mid January at the earliest. I figured this was because it was a custom job and so I didn't mind all that much. But then the item shipped a week later, and STILL didn't arrive until nearly six weeks. What possible form of shipping did they use that would take so long, and yet still charge me $8 shipping for a (very) small package? Even media mail would be far faster and cheaper. When it arrived finally, it was even worse. While I was prepared for the small size, which was listed, I wasn't prepared for what a low-quality, slapdash job it would be. The pieces are thin and frail, and the "hometown satellite map" was a blurry, low-res Google Maps image. Worse yet, because my wife's home is a mountain town, the "puzzle" was 75% blotchy green from tree cover. Essentially I paid $63 for a puzzle the size of a piece of printer paper made of identical splotchy green pieces that took 6 weeks to arrive despite being "custom" built in a few days. You'd think that with a custom job, someone would look at the image, realize it wasn't going to be a functional puzzle (or even a decipherable image at all) and contact me, but no. Considering for that money I could have purchased 3-4 high quality 1000 piece puzzles (this is only 400), this is an incredible rip-off and a complete waste of money. You'd be just was well off printing out a Google image on cardstock yourself and going to town on it with a pair of scissors. Avoid at all costs.

Can be too difficult depending on location selected
I thought this was a fabulous idea for my wife for Christmas. She loves jigsaw puzzles, and she loved where she grew up in the Pittsburgh area. So, I got her one for her home address where she grew up, but upon receiving it, I thought it would be near impossible to solve. I still gifted it, and she thought the same - great idea, but she isn't even going to try it because it will be extremely difficult. The issue is this - I was picturing an aerial picture with an elevation something akin to Bing Maps "Birdseye" look, where you can see individual houses, etc. Unfortunately, the view is the much higher elevation satellite view, and you cannot even see many houses because of tree cover. In this case, her house was in the middle of a large residential area, so practically every piece looks alike. If you select a location where there is plenty of diversification in the landscape that allows you to distinguish between puzzle pieces better, this may be a better product. So word to the wise - before you order this, pull up a map on your phone or computer, and think about how that view will look as a jigsaw puzzle.

Great gift for an adult or avid puzzle lover
I got this as a gift for my husband. I had his moms house as the centrepoint. He was so surprised and excited when he opened it, priceless. The puzzle was a diffacult level, took about a month to put together, working after work and weekends.
