Q: I have a 2010 mac mini that has a optical drive that is now not functional. according to dealers above, apple sd will not work on this model?

I also have this older Mac but I let it be upgraded and then had problems with it not reading dvds although it reads audible cds. After I installed the Superdrive the internal drive started working buttt the computer no longer reads dvds. I wish i hadnt upgreded the system, let this be a wrning to those with this older computer. I wish i had the old system back.
