Our mattress is kind of old and probably should be replaced however I decided to try this mattress topper tonfluff up the top abit to give me a few more months to save for a mattress. I have a king size bed and this topper fits my bed well. I like that it has deep pockets on the sides as I have had no issues with it coming up or showing all stretched on the side of the mattress. It fits nicely and tucks under the bed. It does add a nice poof to the bed and makes it feel comfy to get into. I have washed and dried this topper and it still fits great there was no shrinkage or deformation. So far I am pleased with it!

First, buy this ONLY if you want a glorified mattress pad - NOT if you want a true mattress topper. For the price it isn't terrible quality and the padding is decent - FOR THE PRICE ---NOT for what is advertised. I read all the reviews before buying this item. Ok, well not all but quite a few - the thing that really got me was how many people said the mattress "Topper" was not 1.5-2 inches thick and then how the company commented on their post that it absolutely was between 1.5 and 2 inches thick and that either they got a defective item or they must somehow be confused about what an inch is. But come on - seriously - do you see how many negative complaints they have gotten for the thickness of the pad? There is no way that many people are incorrect. I almost didn't get the item because of the terrible integrity of a company that not only CANNOT admit that they are incorrect in the thickness of their padding but ACTIVELY comments on every negative review saying that the consumer did something incorrect from measuring it to not following the directions of washing and then drying the item before using - because so many consumers put things straight on the bed without washing them first. (yes, I know I'm being a little sarcastic here - sorry - I am just not a big fan of how this company is doing business. However, I did buy the item - because I needed a mattress pad and wouldn't mind a little extra padding. Which is what I got - a little extra padding. I followed the directions and washed and dried the mattress pad and waited a couple of hours to put on my bed. At that time the mattress pad was probably about 3/4 of an inch thick and that is being generous. I put it on the bed over my 1 inch thick TRUE memory foam type mattress topper (Kohls - usually over $100 got it on sale for around $40ish). You can see the difference in the mattress pad on top of the 1 inch thick mattress topper in my pictures. Clearly, this item is not 1.5 inches thick or even an inch. As previously stated, I'm not unhappy with my purchase because I KNEW it was not a mattress topper but just a slightly padded mattress pad, mattress protector, mattress cover, etc. I gave this a 4 star review because as previously stated - for the price it is a decent product.

I have been sleeping on a 2 inch foam mattress from ikea for the last year. The mattress I had before was very old and was basically a hand me down and I was more comfortable on the foam pad than the mattress at that point. I’m saving up for a good mattress and decided that I should at least be a little more comfortable in the meantime. I was starting to be able to feel the wooden slats on my bed through the foam pad. I ordered this and a mattress topper and this came first. Just having this on the foam pad is already such a huge difference! I’ve actually been able to get some sleep since I put it on. I placed the order on the 8th of February and received it on the 9th of February and was waiting for my mattress topper to wash it so I could put both on at the same time, but my mattress hadn’t come yet. So I washed it on the 11th and put it on that night. It took a while to dry because it does have down in it, but it was so comfortable once it was dry and I was able to put it on. TL;DR: shipping was really fast. Material is really durable and comfortable. Washing is easy, drying takes a little extra time because of the material. Super comfortable, even on just straight foam padding. 10/10

I was using a foam topper that was promoted as a cooling topper but I swear they retained your body heat forever. The foam topper had all these weird shapes and egg crated areas that from a far it would let some air flow cool it... nope. This new topper is not annoying too soft, just right, and seems to cool much faster than the foam topper.

I just got this mattress pad today. It was well packaged, all the air was sucked out of the bag to make it very small. I wondered about the fabric content since nothing was listed in the description. The tag says top is micro fiber, I assume poly. Filling poly, and bottom non woven poly. I have a queen size bed. The items says it is 60x80 which would fit well. BUT the pad is actually 56x76 so it is a few inches short around all the sides. On a good note the very stretchy sides (of unlisted fabric content) appear to be filled with spandex so they stretch very well. The label says it would fit a 18" deep mattress, mine is not that big, and I would expect it would fit fine if it was. There is fairy strong elastic around the edges so I am sure it will stay secure. I am very disappointed that this pad is ONLY 1" THICK. The description said 2". It is not close to that. I did wash and dryer it upon receipt so it should have fluffed up from the vacuum pack. I really wanted something thicker. I have a foam mattress and it gets hot at night. I need a thick pad . I think I will be returning this one. They need to change the description. The micro fiber top is silky. The non-woven base is likely to not hold up well but for the price the pad is a good value provided you do not need something 2" thick. UPDATE. I have had this for aprox 1 year. It has held up well. All the seams are still in great shape and it fits tightly on the bed. No rips in the stretchy side fabric that I worried was thin. I have washed it 4 times. When I took it off today I inspected it. The center where I sleep has compacted and it about 1/2" thick. The perimeter edges are 1". After washing it and putting in the dryer I gained 1/4" more thickness. The backside has pilled a bit but since it is the reverse it does not make any difference. It is a good value if you do not want something super thick (thick ones will compress too). I gave it 1 more star because it has held up well. It did help significantly with overheating at night but I still need to add another pad to solve the issue 100%.

I ordered this Pure Brands mattress pad. I put it on one of my son's bed the day I received it. When I took it out of the package I was surprised at how thick and fluffy it looks and feels. He has a queen mattress and really like the way the pad fits snug around the corners of the mattress. Next day after sleeping on it, he said that it’s very comfortable and even better than the one he had on there before. My mom saw the mattress pad and really liked it. She will be buying one too for her bed. I will definitely recommend this mattress pad to the rest of my family and friends.

I've been using this mattress topper for two weeks now, and I am so very pleased I decided to purchase it. I have an Ikea mattress - they're pretty firm so mattress toppers are a must. My last mattress topper got thinner - as mattress toppers are prone to do - over the last two years, so I finally decided to get a new one. I was interested in this one because of the price and rating. Now that I have this topper, I can see why it's well liked. It arrived in a small zipped bag (photo attached), and I was dubious that I was shipped the right size (I ordered a queen topper). It turned out that the topper was just vacuum sealed - It was fun watching it inflate. I let the topper air out for a few hours while I was at work, and it was ultimately about 2 inches in thickness. I haven't felt it deflate yet, but will update if it does. Some mattress toppers, particularly the foam ones, have a chemical smell, but fortunately this one does not. Overall, this was a great buy! Update (April 8, 2018): I stained the mattress topper, so I applied a spot cleaner, threw it in the washer and dryer without bleach as noted, and it looked as good as new. The thickness is about the same as when I got it. Still very pleased!
