The AudioQuest 0.6 m Tower RCA Audio Cables feature solid long-grain copper conductors and cold-welded terminations to reduce distortion. Their foamed-polyethylene insulation and asymmetrical double-balanced geometry optimize sound clarity and dynamic range, while a metal-layer noise dissipation system minimizes RF and EMI interference for superior audio fidelity.

Fantastic value
Tower interconnects RCA are truly some of the best interconnect cables I have heard. I have them connecting a classic 1969 Sansui SR-2050c turntable with a classic ADC XLM mark 3 cartridge. This connected to a vacuum tube PJL retro edition phono stage going to a B&K reference 30 preamp/processor. So my hifi is a step up above less expensive equipment. I have wireworld Polaris ll cables on some of my amplifiers so I have paid huge sums for quality cables. I have to say the tower series is now one of my all time favorite. I even use them on a very classic Pioneer rt1011 reel to reel. I am blown away on how good that deck made in 1975 sounds. Best value of any cable and best sound compaired to cables costing hundred's more.

This is the only AudioQuest product line worth the money. AudioQuest loves to rip people off with many of their other product lines but the Tower series are a great value. I love the single cable design that makes cable management much easier. It is somehow still shielded enough internally where I don't any crosstalk between the channels or any interference from other nearby cables. The connectors are well made and stay in place (almost too well) on every piece of equipment I've tried them on. They stay in place so well that due to the shape of the plug it can be hard to get a good enough grip on it to unplug it. I standardized on Tower series cables after tracing a problem I had been having down to a bad RCA cable, and I decided then and there to give up my former practice of just using whatever cables I had on hand since "it doesn't make a difference". It completely can make a difference, but only in build quality and usability, not in the ways that AudioQuest and other "high end" audio accessory companies want you to believe.

Nice but not worth the risk
I have always preferred Audioquest solid conductor over the stranded varieties such as Analysis Plus or DH Labs. These new designs are much more flexible than the old ones of 10-20 years ago. The price is now $33.95 for 1M but still a bargain. I see no need to pay $49.95 for Evergreen which is the same cable but with a pretty color braid. The differences over the red and white junk I/Cs are slight but at 1% of a $3,000.00 stereo, it is a good value. A little darker sound but smoother and more harmonically correct. The problem is the RCA's are so TIGHT. I am afraid I will break off my amp terminals trying to get these things off. I considered using some dielectric grease but don't want to get grease all over everything. Besides, I do not think it would help much. What makes matters worse is the connectors are small diameter, polished smooth shiny plastic , and close together so it is really hard to get a good grip on them. So I end up trying to pry my fingernail under the end or (worse) pulling on the cable to get it off. Also because of the dual wire construction, you have to put both RCA's on the terminals at the same time or twist them pretty bad if you do one at a time. This is especially bad for AQ because another problem with AQ is the welded connections. They are great for optimum conductibility but tend to be brittle and break if bent or twisted. If you are going to put them on once and have a nice straight exit off the RCA jacks with no sharp bends, these Towers are highly recommended.

AudioQuest Tower
Okay, cables for audio equipment are a very controversial subject. Some people don’t care as long as they work and they get sound. The best cables are no cables. But because they are a necessity to connect separate gear. They shouldn’t change the signal or let unwanted signals in. And that is exactly what these entry level AudioQuest Tower rca to rca anolog cables do. Notice I didn’t mention how the cables sound, because if they are doing their job they shouldn’t have a sound. These are a great value and high quality. I can highly recommend these and will purchase again.

Worth the price
Decided to wire my entire system with these Audioquest Tower analog and Forest digital cables. Before this, I was using the super thick Monoprice RCA and Toslink cables that are also available here on Amazon. When I had the Monoprice cables properly grounded and wired from my turntable to my preamplifier, there was a very apparent hum, or buzz, in the left channel of my stereo system at higher volumes. When I wired it with these Audioquest Tower cables, the hum went away completely... Solving my issue. As far as sound quality, it's hard to say for sure. It does seem that the entire system seems tighter and more dynamic (especially in the mids and lows). The fact that these cables got rid of the buzz issue I was having is enough on its own for me to recommend these cables over the cheaper options. It's also nice to have a thinner, more flexible cable. Give these a shot, the price is right. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Audio quest cables making a buzzing noise.
I bought four pairs of these, they all made a buzzing noise. They seem like they would be high quality but they are not. I ended up replacing all of my cables with SVS sound path cables and all of the buzzing went away. It was very discouraging, considering these are supposed to be very high-quality. I also bought four HDMI cables from audio quest that are doing the same thing. Yes all of my components are grounded. I tried everything before replacing several hundred dollars in cables

At least china companies stand behind there products!!!
Cables have a short in them and i missed my return window by 1 week. Seller wouldnt do anything and audio quest replyed with a link im supposed to access so these can be changed but i cant access there link and no one will respond to my emails…ive always supported audio quest and have been a solid customer for years but they have horrible customer service and definitely dont stand behind there products…ive had better experiences with china companies. Need to make it right or dont advertise lifetime warranty Update Ive been contacted by audioquest and currently am awaiting a replacement pair of cables
