MotoFabLifts DR-2-2" Front Leveling Lift Kit Compatible with Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup 4WD

First, solid product. They seem like they’ll hold up for quite some time and appear well constructed. The print isn’t on it with the company name, which is ok, you won’t see it anyways. I would recommend the company stamp their name though so if anyone ever takes the suspension apart and sees them, they know what to replace them with if they need replaced. On to the bad. The instructions aren’t clear, but they’re pretty straight forward for an install. I did use threadlocker on the Allen’s though, blue 242. Since you tighten them to your strut mounts, you spin the nut the same direction to unscrew the Allen bolt. So a bit of loctite just for peace of mind. I would recommend these to anyone with a 2023 RAM 1500 4x4 that wants to eliminate the factory rake with minimal effort and with something that is easily undone.

I installed this on my 2019 Ram 1500 with factory air ride suspension and install went pretty smooth. I first set the suspension to lowest “entry/exit” mode, removed the positive connector from battery before jacking it up and disconnecting the air line connector at the top of the air strut. I had to loosen the lower a-arm bolts and disconnect the sway link and tie rod steering link to drop low enough to get the strut in with the spacer. For air ride equipped Ram’s, this spacer alone will not level the air ride at “normal” ride hight. I also bought adjustable links for the front air ride sensors from AirLinks Suspension’s website. Both of these products work together to raise/level the ride hight AND still keep the same ride comfort. I watched BDS Suspension’s YouTube tutorial for their 4” air ride lift as a reference to a couple steps. I will be installing 33x12.5r22 with 10” wide wheels. Eventually I might go to 35s. Don’t forget to get an alignment afterwards.

Turned out great! Only took about 2 hours to install and you dont need to replace the control arms to get the correct camber.

Works good. Instructions were a little unclear. Make sure to install the allen head bolts into the adapter threads and tighten so it will go into the strut mount on the vehicle. Re use the flanged lock nuts that you take off the original strut to secure the spacer to the vehicle again and use the non flanged nuts to secure the spacer to the strut tower.

It was perfect in every way Great price, arrived before the expected date all the way from USA to bahrain, very nice quality ,Fits like a glove ,my mechanic installed it in less than an hour, but make sure to do your alignment after the installation. The most important thing is that it gave my truck the look and the ground clearance I wanted without noticing any change in my driving experience.

Good leveling lift for the front end. A true two inches for the front, makes the truck look even. Of course, the proper tools for installation is where its at. I used a cordless impact for the mounting hardware removal and install. A large pry bar to remove and install the strut assembly to the lower control arm is a must. I took about 2 hours to complete with two people. Lastly, get a front end alignment asap. The TOE will be way out of spec and ruin your tires. Don't forget to adjust your headlight beam a little lower as well.

I highly recommend them , installed within 2 hours , leveled the truck , I would not go over 2 inches , 2 inches is great !!! You don’t need an alignment, I drove my truck , still the same steering was still centered, drive it first after install before aligning drives the same and great , definitely can tell the different height once sitting inside

Put this on a 2021 Ram 1500 lone star 4x4. This is a well made spacer to get the leveled truck you want. It bolts onto the top of the strut so you don’t have to compress the spring which makes the install way easier. Truck still rides just as smooth as before, can’t tell any difference. Got an alignment after install to realign the front end and drives just like stock again. With another guys help we got it all done in 2 hours. Some advice is to get a ball joint separator. Either rent or buy one it makes the job way easier and quicker. Would highly recommend this kit to anyone!

Got a shop to install, took them about an hour. Love the look of the truck. Was looking between this set up or bilstein 5100's. Figured I'd try these for now due to the low cost. Overall i'm pleased with the set up, previous reviews everyone says it rides like stock, I found when you hit the big bumps or potholes it rides rougher vs stock (stock rides super smooth). Highway driving fells stock. Overall a good product on a cheaper budget and does the job.

Ride became very stiff and a year later i need to change everything under the car

Cost me a little over $100 CAD, booklet says for 5th gen rams it's only for 2wd but they fit just fine for 4wd, couple hours to install, backed off the axle nut to get a little more space to re-install the struts and been good so far, ride isn't bad at all a little stiffer but still more than adequate for a daily driver .
