Darice Chef Hats (8)

I gave the chef hats only a 4-star for comfort because they are too small for an adult--and barely fit my 11-year-old granddaughter. The Velcro is brilliant, but doesn't extend enough for an adult head. They fit my 6-year-old with room to spare and were a big hit at her "chef-themed" birthday!

These hats worked perfectly for my 9 yr olds cake decorating party. Delivery was on time. Packaging was great: laid out flat in the box.The girls had fun stamping each letter of their name with washable Crayola paint on to the front of their hat. Each girl made a flower from cupcake liners which I hot glued together and glued it in their hat.I was concerned the hats may not fit my tiny niece or the oldest girl attending party. They fit everyone except adults. Each guest walked out the door wearing their adoraboe chef hat, homemade aprons, and proudly carrying their personally decorated cake. Beat those party favor bags hands down!!

I received my hats yesterday and I have to admit they are really cute. My daughter is having a Pizza Making Party for her 4th Birthday. I am the mother of a 10, 8, and 3 year old and the hats are adjustable and fit all three of my children. The hats are not paper thin more like a reusable grocery bag qaulity. I would purchase this item again :)

Great product! Bought several for my preteen's cooking party and it fit the smallest to the largest head, with velcro straps to size it appropriately. The material is just what another reviewer described: not quite cloth but not paper, either. The girls used fabric markers to personalize their hats and glued on feathers, felt shapes, and fake flowers. Was a great take home favor (along with an apron) and my daughter kept hers as she liked it so much.

Perfect for my 9-year-old's cooking birthday party. Plenty big -- she needed to make the velcro tighter to keep it up on her head. It's a paper-type fabric, so I don't think it would hold up to the washer, but they lasted through the party, and she'll be able to wear it for fun for a while at home.

Hats were perfect for occasion at church. Youth wore them to serve and then used three of them for a game where men wore the hats. The Velcro made them adjustable and fit both youth and adults.

Ordered these for party favors for a cooking party for my 6 year old. Each child left with a hat and an apron along with their cookie mix. :) No more bags of junkets that are nothing but worthless clutter! Much better to send them off with something useful and fun! Big hit!

My twins wanted a cooking party for their 10th birthday, these were perfect for all the party guests. They are a mix between paper and fabric, similar to a disposable hospital scrub material. The kids all decorated them with fabric markets and felt stickers and it worked perfect!
