No it does not. The Canadian version isn’t contaminated like the American counterpart.

Are these peanut and tree nut free?

The package does not actually say it is peanut and tree nut free. However, I have read that any Kit Kat's manufactured in Canada are peanut and tree nut safe. I bought these for my son who is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts, and he had been eating then with zero symptoms or reactions. are these the same taste with british kitkats?

I have not had “British” Kit Kat’s, but these are the Kit Kat’s that are sold in Canada. They taste MUCH better than ones sold in USA. Maybe this helps?

Better tasting KitKat

These UK KitKats are really good, and taste better than the US ones. So happy I found these on Amazon as they are not as sweet and actually taste like cacao. So good.

Much better than the disgusting Kit Kat made in the US. This tastes like the Kit Kats offered on Qatar Airways. It definitely is the same as or a very close version of the popular British Kit Kat. Highly recommended.

Nestle Kit Kats are better!

These Kit Kats were a little pricier than "local" Kit Kats, but Canadians sure know how to make better chocolate. My son brought back a variety of chocolate candy from Canada. I had heard there was a difference, but didn't think it would be a big deal. It is SO MUCH better. Worth the extra cost to buy Nestle Kit Kat!

Disappointed

I have bought these Kit Kats many times before. This time, they did not come in original packaging so the candy bars were not labeled for allergies. This is a problem for me because I only buy these because they should be safe for my child with allergies. They should not be shipped without the proper packaging! I don’t think they are made in Canada as stated in the description which are the only ones safe for my son to eat.They appear to be the UK version of KitKat, not Canadian. So how is it okay that I cannot get a refund for receiving the incorrect KitKats??
