I have been using these filters for several years. Currently we have two vehicles that both use this same style, so I always keep one or two on hand for the next oil change. The filter and o rings install the same as oem. The only issue is the small oring that goes on the tip of the filter element carrier. It is very tight and hard to get on in cold weather. This is not the fault of the filter, rather the design, Motorcraft filters are just as difficult. I have never pushed the filter anywhere near 20,000 miles, that seems ludicrous I generally change my oil every 5k.

Couldn’t find a cleaning kit for it and I had to come up with some custom fittings to make it work. It’s way smaller that the last filter but if it gets more air I guess that’s a good thing
