Very nice whisky however it’s a little too pricey, ther are others out there half the price and just as nice

If you love prayed whisky but want something a little different, buy this. There’s a sweetness to it that balances the pear beautifully.

Tradition
We have made a tradition to buy this whisky for my husband on bigger occasions. I love the small. He loves the taste. It took him a while to get used to the heavy smokiness but he loves it now.

lighter more refined version of Caol Ila 12 year old
This is an excellent whisky - a lighter more refined version fo Caol Ila 12 year old - still very smokey but with none of the rough edges, a lighter peat and a slight honeyed tone. The scent is gentle and sweet and the first taste of of honey, vanilla and a slight salt with the smokey tones edging in as an aftertaste - a dram to savour. Unusually, I added a drop of water - it opens it up wonderfully allowing the space to taste the complexity

You have to like peaty whiskys to like this one. Good price though and swift delivery.
