AO Smith Z8 Green RO Water Purifier + SCMT + HOT (Black)

The information till now i have known,1.Opted this product for instant hot water.But it is not instant compared to electric mug.it will take more than 3 min to reach 45 degree temperature.2.in my case Input TDS is 270 (bore water) and after filtering it was 75. After two months of usage it came down to 45.3.The package came with external filterer, obviate the need to buy from outside shops.4.We need to raise the separate request to AO smith for installation by calling to customer care.(of-course installation is free).5.The person who came for installation told me that the annual maintenance cost may be around 4000/-6.looks-wise it s very good.so far it is good and i am satisfied

The purifier is not good, just in two months of purchase water is leaking from the purifier and the AO Smith service is very very bad. Please dont buy this product.

I purchased AO SMITH WATER PURIFIER on June 10 ,2019 from Rathna stores Chennai. From the day 1 the machine installed I had faced continuous problem. The machine was not installed correctly such that the water was never purified and had worst taste inspite of connected with municipal water. After complaints for 2 months it was found that the RO din purify the water at all and problem got solved.from then each month any of the filters will get damaged and each month the service person will come and resolve the issue. Can never see a purifier which all times can give so much troubles.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought it from SK Electricals at Chennai P6. On the first day of installation i noticed the two lights which were given in the filter for Night Assist is found to be dull on Normal Water and Hot Water is Bright. When approached Service, they said they are ready to repair it. I refused and insisted for replacement as it is first day report. There was no response and the entire service team is so rigid. After escalating it to their CEO/MD/Global CEO also there is not even a courtesy reply from the company. After hard fight with Dealer and local Service Team unit was replaced on 8th Sep 21. Even this unit had the same defect. Adding further agony it started leaking profusely from inside the cabinet. When i touched it i got a severe shock. Reported and waiting for resolution or refund from the company. Very poor quality product out of sync after sale service. It is not a good buy at all. I bough 4 Water Heater earlier and three failed on the first day of use itself. So the brand is not producing good quality product.

Product is useful n good but maintenance n repairs by agency are way too costly n erractic. Technicians arrive at their own whims n fancies, after repeated calls.Product has been regularly maintained since purchased. After last servicing, water tank had few plastic particles, which came to notice after few days. So the service was requested directly to manager of agency. He sent the person after 2-3 calls. Technician acknowledged to me that few plastic material was there but told the manager that ants were there though there weren't any.. So who's responsible? I was charged for service charges.Sad state of affairs!!

It is costing a bomb because of repeated breakdowns.techinician has to be called once a month on an average.they try to pressurise you into going in for an expensive annual maintenencse contract which will also not save you from frequent inconvenience apart from adding to your cost.So dont buy RO from this company.i had a kent RO for five years which required only one routine service per 6 months.so dont buy this RO even if the initial cost is lower because it will set you back by a few thousands every year with the atyendant inconvenience

bought AO Smith ProplanetP4 from a very reputed dealer on Kanakapauara Road K.S.I.T Junction, Blore on 06-Aug. Product was delivered and installed on 07-Aug, right from installation product is not working. AO Smith Technician who has come for installation has identified that cut-off valve is not working but insisted on closing the installation for a valve replacement, instead of advicing product replacement even though it was a brand new Box piece. Would have been Olympic Jimnast Gold Medelist with the efforts that I had to put in to make the dealer agree for a refund but in vain. Waiting for a replacement...fingers crossed...No business ethics just process and profit. Have been using KENT RO since 2011 without any hassels albeit expensive annual service, only reason to prefer AO Smith is due to the Alkaline treatment of purified water for a pH balanced drinking water...Lessons learnt : (1) Buy directly from AO Smith or like of Amazon who gurantee product quality (2) Do not fall for the sweet talk, no installation closure until you see the product working and satisfied
