Functional, but cheaply made.
They do work, but the metal legs will bend easily. For the price they are not a bad clip, but there are times when they can be difficult to connect to legs on IC's.

Totally Useless for Electronic or automotive use
Poorly and cheaply made as imported from abroad. Clasping pins bend and does not have sufficient tension to hold on. Forget about making clip in leads as the metal within the clip are not solderable. Only use I can see for this tool is a nose picker.

Nearly impossible to solder
Ordinary solder will not adhere to the metal tab (pull off cap). At. All. There is a tiny little rivet punched through the tab and solder does stick to that. The rivet does have a tiny hole through which a wire can be threaded. However the rivet itself does not appear to be very mechanically secure - on the first sample I tried it freely spun which does not bode well for a good electrical connection. Maybe some kind of crimp connection?...Open to other ideas for wire attachment. Otherwise I'd consider these to be worthless.

Cheaply made and they fall apart.
