***UPDATE*** The bed cover is rain resistant, very close to rain proof. I feel safe putting my camping gear under this bed cover and feel confident everything will be protected. I purchased this bed cover because I had one on my old truck that was totaled a few years ago. It did a great job of protecting all of the items we bring camping. Since purchasing this new truck these items have been left in the rain, unprotected and in easy view of anyone looking to steal them. On our way back home after evacuating for a hurricane, we brought back quite a few gas cans and propane tanks. We would have had a target on our backs on the nearly 6 hour drive home if these items were not concealed. I couldn't be happier with this bed cover, even if it would have been installed for free by professionals. The setup and instructions were simple and user friendly. The only tools I needed were scissors to cut the weather stripping and a tape measure to ensure the cover was centered correctly on the bed. Beyond the setup, this bed cover looks very sleek. It's not the thinnest bed cover but looks good on my truck. There are clamps in the middle and by the tailgate to hold it down and "lock" it once the tailgate is closed. These clamps are very easy to lock and unlock with one hand when opening and closing the bed cover. This bed cover also feels more sturdy then the one I had on my old truck. I will definitely feel safe driving with this bed cover on my truck. I will update this review after a few camping trips and give more details on the weather resistance of this product.

UPDATE: After 3 years of loving this bed cover, we've lost a couple of housing clamps and I'm worried the whole thing will fly off with it not being properly secured. Maybe I can find some in a store but was wanting the original ones from the seller. Was trying to contact the seller to purchase additional housing clamps but haven't found where to reach them. Will keep looking. As for the cover itself, it has held up very well and we're still very happy with it! The written instructions weren't very clear but luckily my husband found a video that walked him through the installation. Once he got it installed, we absolutely love it! The sleek and stylish look really adds to the beauty that is "Fred" (our truck)! It was worth the extra money for the hard cover too. It's study and it keeps debris, gunk and water out of the bed of our truck. You won't be sorry you ordered this one!!

I just received this for my 2025 Chevy 2500HD, and I have some concerns. The clips that slide into the rails to secure the cover only engage about 1/4 inch on both sides, and I don’t see any way to adjust them so they slide fully under the rail. My second concern is the mounting point closest to the cab—the quick-release clips there also only extend about 1/4 inch under the rail. Additionally, there is no safety harness near the cab. With several other bed covers I’ve owned, there has always been a secure mounting point near the cab, typically with a safety harness attached to the truck bed tie-downs or a dedicated ring on the rail system. At this point, I’m undecided, but I’m leaning toward returning the product, as I don’t feel confident that it is safe for use on the road.

Very sturdy easy install

I received my cover early enough to have time to put it on my truck and once I got it straight it bolted down great! Easy to install and it fits awesome…just what I was hoping for…thanks this is a great cover and I hope it lasts as long as my trifold did…8 Years!
