Nice bed, just what we wanted for our new cabin! Great quality and workmanship. My wife & I assembled in less than an hour. We glued the joint instead of the supplied nails. Solid & no squeaks.

I got it on time but I wasn’t expecting it to be a raw white cedar. I decided to scorch all the parts and it not only sealed the wood but it turned out beautiful. Although the wooden blocs that are sent with it to keep the mattress from sliding Don’t exactly work the way they are designed a box spring will not fit between them and with that in mind neither will the mattress if you decide to not use a box spring but I recommend you to cut a piece of plywood to the proper measurements needed for it to support the mattress because the cross member posts that hold the sides of the frame and support the bottom of your mattress are spaced too far apart from each other to support the mattress by itself. Kinda like bunk beds need for support between the mattress and the frame. Also keep in mind if you choose to use a normal box spring with your mattress it will swallow the headboard once you put your pillows on the bed and you will no longer be able to see the headboard.

A very nice bed but there was a lot of checking in some of the pieces. If you use a mattress without a box spring, like a memory foam,your going to need to put sheeting over the rails. This is a kit! You'll need to finish the wood with poly and assemble it. Assembly was not hard but not real easy either. I had to have an extra set of hands to get the ends on. I didn't use the provided nails, eventually they will rust and stain the wood. I glued everything instead. Don't do this without dry fitting everything first or You'll run into trouble.It looks great in my new cabin. You can see it in the pic at the end of the loft. I would have given 5 stars if the checking (cracks in the wood) would have been less.This is a very sturdy bed if you assemble it correctly. This kit saved me several hundred dollars compared to a furniture store with a nearly identical bed.All in all, I'd buy another one if I needed another bed.

I bought the queen bed frame. Instructions were not written very well. I constructed the frame by myself. Would have been much easier with 2 people. You will need a mallet, drill with a 1/2" socket to construct.It was a great price. The wood comes unfinished. I had to brush on a coat of semi-gloss polyurethane. Took about 2 hours.In the end it was a great value and very sturdy. Would recommend if you are willing to put some time and effort into the bed frame.

The bed went together fairly easily.The price was very reasonable. The assembled bed is very rugged. Very happy with the purchase!

I have all log pine furniture in my home and this bed was for the guest bedroom. I'm very happy with it. It was much harder to put together than some of the reviewers said but with help I got it done. It was unfinished but I put on 2 Coats of polyurethane and it looks great.

My boyfriend with one good arm and unable tuse his other hand at all put the headboard and footboard together by himself me with use of only my left hand and partial use of my right leg and use of my left leg put the rest of it together unfortunately once you get it together if you have a regular size box spring is set so tall that I can't get into it because of my disabilities and without the box spring my bed's too soft and I can't get up out of i. the post and everything are so small it looks like it belongs in a little kids room. it did come with instructions pre-drilled holes lag bolts and some Nails which I don't understand you do need a rubber mallet to pound everything together and you are going to want a low profile box spring or you are going to want to put plywood across the three slats that they give you for your mattress to rest on unless you are tall and can just sit on it I'm 5 6 and I can't sit on the bed I have to tippy-toe which I cannot do. I'm unable to get into the bed and like I said it's such a petite little frame that looks like it belongs in a child's room disappointed very disappointed. If you use your regular box spring on it you can't see the footboard at all unless you look at it from the end because you're bed sticks up a couple inches above the post and everything and then you can only see about less than half of the headboard with a regular box spring and a regular mattress on it.

The bed came and it is beautiful when finished. It does have some cracks but does not affect the bed itself. It is a bit shorter than I am used to with only room for the mattress since the boxsprings made it too tall to see the frame. We bought some wood plank, supports to put under the mattress and also got 4 inch height adjusters to raise the bed a little since it sat to low without them. Overall, I am satisfied with the bed. It looks great. (My first two images show without the height adjustments, and the last two pictures are with.) It was easy to assemble and a good value for the money. If you don’t mind finishing it yourself, I would purchase it again.
