I bought this pack for the desoldering braids rather than the pump as it comes with six reals of braid (3 different sizes, 2.0, 2.5 & 3.0mm), each 1.5metre in length. For six reals and a pump the product is great value. The braids work well, simply apply a hot soldering iron on top of the braid positioned on the solder joint to be desoldered and wait for the solder to melt. Then pull away the braid and it's job done!! Nice an neatly too. The pump looks sturdy enough. Plunger action is smooth and release action works fine.

Can’t fault this for the price. First time using one of these pumps, so took me a few tries to angle it correctly before the solder gets hard again, but very easy once you know how. Build quality is very good and should last a long time. I actually found the desoldering wick that came with it to be very useful too. Was also worried About the plastic tip melting but I have had no issues with this so far. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to others.

Works as should and good quality

Pump is excellent and well constructed, and the soft sleeve makes it easy to hold at odd angles without slipping. It's easy to empty and clean; the section with the tip is held on by a bayonet fixing, so a small twist releases it.In my case only one reel of solder wick was present in the package.

It does the job, sucks solder very well, but not sure how it'll last long term. The nozzle bit does come off, though mine was very tight at first, needed pliers to get it off. It's just a quarter turn detail in the end of the main body.The nozzle tip is not soft, so getting out the little bits of stuck solder is a pain.The sponge handle isn't really much for how you need to hold it to press the button.
