Bought as a joke for Halloween. I showed one coworker and next thing I know they are all over the office lol. The roaches are surprisingly realistic looking at a glance and some people were a little freaked out until they realized they were not real!! You can not beat the entertainment value and the value for your money.

Excellent plastic bugs. Gross and realistic enough that one was discovered on the carpet, and it gave me a startle.

I added these to my black witch's cauldron candy bowl for a bit if added Halloween excitement. I sprinkled some extra cockroaches on the floor, on and around the jack-o-lanterns. Some kids grabbed the creepy crawlies along with handfuls of candy. Others picked around them to get the candy. Some kids were scared and asked me to hand them their candy. All good fun!!! Cockroaches are the most realistic. Spiders are pretty good, too. Scorpions, geckos, centipedes added variety. There was one rubber snake. There was also a handful of small silicone maggots that have a gummy consistency. I didn't care much for the maggots because they come in bright white or black which is not realistic. And they're small and easy for kids to swallow. I had to tell some children to take them out of their mouths. If you're using these for small children, take the maggots out. After Halloween, we like to leave the cockroaches around the house to scare each other. I've already had several mini heart attacks.

Overall the product was worth the cost to receive it and provided a nice mix of "non-scary" bugs so that I could still add them to the "non-scary" goodie bags. However, I was disappointment that the producer upped the bug count by adding a LOT of maggots to the collection. Cockroaches, flies, spiders, etc. are the choice bugs, while maggots are something that are spread out among the "scary" goodie bags so that no one is too disappointed that all they got were a bunch of maggots. Still, for the priced payed, the product was worth it and I would buy them again.

Great product for Halloween! Cockroaches look so realistic that I get squeamish touching it even knowing they are fake!

Was OK. Educating 8-10 year old children about composting. Served the purpose of showing what one would encounter in or near a compose pile.
