Shifts the Air.
Like all extractor fans, this one can't do its job silently , but the the noise level is reasonable, and it does effectively send the fumes from a gas stove up the chimney, which would otherwise struggle against the prevailing downdraft . The nominal size of both the extractor fan and the chimney flue is 150mm, but the chimney flue required adhesive rubber foam to secure the extractor in place and ensure all the air went up the chimney. All in all, I would recommend: not excessively noisy, and with some adjustments, easy to fit onto a chimney.
