U ULTRA HARDWARE 45035 Cheltenham Handleset, Antique Brass

The lock set is very nice. It is heavy and comparable to the quality of a Kwikset at almost half the price. The only aspect where they took a bit of a short cut on the equipment is where the screw of the bottom of the handle set goes through the inside of the door. All other lock sets I have seen have a round cover plate to cover the screw. This set has a washer and screw of an oil rubbed bronze color, not matching the lock set's color. Not terribly noticeable but would have been nice to include a cover plate.The instructions are horrible and looks like a copy of a copy of a copy. The handle set is reversible, so you can use it for a left hand swing or right hand swing door. When I had the handle set installed, pressing the thumb press on the handle would lock instead of unlock the door. Since the instructions were useless and I was at a loss, I looked up some videos and instructions of comparable Schlage locks. Well, you have to turn the cam in the handle by 180 degrees to reverse it. It was an easy fix but I would not have figured it out on my own with the horrible instructions that don't make any mention of it.

Nice product, wrong measurements in description. I think this handle is about 1" shorter than ours was. Which is fine if you are drilling your own holes. Great return service. No hassles at all.

Perfect if security is not your main concern.I've installed plenty of locksets in my days. I had concern at one point during installation where things were not lining up properly and I thought I would need to return this (as my old lock is in 15 pieces on the floor, ugh). It ended up being something simple and the lock fit perfectly. Installation from that point on was easy, because I knew what I was doing.I noticed immediately how much heavier my old Kwikset lock was compared to this one. It works great, but if my main concern was security, the I would have felt that this lock was inadequate. However, living in a townhome neighborhood where criminal activity visits us rarely (other than once and a while an elderly neighbor will drink too much and the police come will by to settle them down), this lockset will work out just fine.The keys seem like they are very cheap as well, I would suggest making copies immediately and keeping the originals as spares.

Love this set. It's very good quality and looks great. Wasn't difficult to install at all. It was priced low in comparison to other sets I had almost purchased. The size fit almost perfectly. It was a little different than the previous set I had on my door, but I expected that. I just touched up the areas that needed it and it's good to go. Doesn't look cheap and it's a nice simple design.

Used this to replace our knob that was on it's last leg and I'm extremely happy with it. I was holding off because of the high prices at major stores but when I saw this and the great reviews I jumped on it. It was easy to install and looks great!

Worked well for a while but now the door gets stuck when I press down on it to open my door I have to slam it down sometimes and the deadbolt lock I had to oil a few times n it won’t lock and unlock very well either

At first I thought this lock did not fit. After looking at a video on YouTube I decided to keep it and make it work. It was my error that caused me to think it didn't fit. The lock looks and works great. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Looked great at first. Good price, cheaper than Lowes, Home Depot, etc. However it has not held up as good as expected. It is under the roof on a porch and gets very little weather on it. After six months it is tarnished with the color completely off in places. I guess the moral is that you get what you pay for.
