Was looking for a throttle body cleaner for a long time - Note: this is not the same as a Carb cleaner, they are not recommended for use on throttle bodies (I wonder why) - Works great, spray is enough to dislodge deposits - Stubborn buildup may require agitation with a brush - * Could be detrimental * to plastic intake manifolds so I recommend removing the throttle body from the engine and be mindful of over-spray onto plastic parts

EGR cleaning is a key maintenance schedule to be done for any diesel engine. Just Applying liqmoly product at intake manifold before turbo solved vibration,improved throttle response.

Ma femme avais mis trop d’huile dans le moteur , ça a largement encrassé l’admission. Ce produit a fait des miracles pour tout rattraper sans démonter.

Hat wie immer super funktioniert. Drosselklappe vom Smart 454-2006-257tkm -ohne Ausbau gereinigt. Mal wieder: Gelbe Leuchte an, Fehler im Steuergerät, niedrige Drehzahl im Stand und Motor ging bei Halt einfach aus. Etliche Fehler im Steuergerät. Also zuerst Drosslklappe gereinigt: Es waren nur leichte Verschmutzungen vorhanden(mit Spiegel und Taschenlampe vorher und nacher geschaut) und nach Anwendung sieht alles aus wie neu...... Stecker gereinigt und Kabel neu abisoliert-alles wieder zusammengebaut. Nach Reinigung: gelbe Leuchte aus, Drehzahl im Stand normal, kein Motor aus bei Halt. Letzte Fehlermeldungen behoben: Gaspedal getauscht(Pedalpositionssensor), Drosslklappenpotentiometer getauscht. Die Drosslklappe wird hier halbjährlich gereinigt, da nur Stadtverkehr. Aber kleinste Verschmutzungen, grosse Wirkung. Ist die Drosselklappe nicht gepflegt worden, kann der Reiniger allerdings nur eine Notlösung sein. Im Fazit: Top-Produkt mit guter Wirkung. Hinweis: Bei Fehlern im Steuergerät welche auf Drossklappe hinweisen, ist nicht immer die Droslklappe selbst. Pedalsensor durch Feuchtigkeit oder Schmutz defekt=meldet falsche Pedalpostion=falsche Öffnung der Drosselklappe. Drosselklappenpotentiometer verschmutz/defekt=falsche Druckerkennung. Kabel korrodiert, Isolierung beschädigt= Fehlergewitter.

I hesitated to use this cleaner after seeing multiple videos from people claiming it doesn't work well. These videos show the before and after condition of the valves. Finally decided to use this on my BMW 520i 2014 that had never had its intakes cleaned. Go for this product eyes closed. It make my engine as smooth as new. The minor vibrations have completely gone, and the accelerations have become so much more linear. Earlier, the car would slightly hesitate to accelerate from a standstill, and when it did, it felt like a lot of power was being generated. Similarly, when the car slowed down, I could feel the lower gears; now the car runs as new. Be mindful to take your time and spray the cleaner well and wipe the throttle valve body with a microfiber cloth. After seeing the results, I used this on my Porsche Cayenne 2013 V8. Again, the results are amazing. I found that after a few days, it got even better on both cars. I am now planning on doing this once a year. All the best.
