Better than incandescents
I recently switched my motorcycle over from incandescent bulbs over to LEDs. I did this for a couple of reasons: 1. LEDs are brighter, and I want all of the visibility I can get on a bike 2. LEDs usually run cooler, which keeps the old plastic housings on my bike from warping any more than they already are 3. LEDs draw less power, which should keep the voltage regulator and rectifier alive a bit longer (I hope) 4. LEDs should, in theory, last a long time. I specifically looked for LED bulbs that mentioned brightness in the reviews and that had multiple LED chips/dies on the circuit board in a circular array. Individual LEDs tend to emit light in a very narrow cone so it's important to have lots of them pointing in different directions. I put these in and was immediately impressed with the brightness of my turn signals. They are brighter than my original incandescent bulbs and throw a bright beam of light out in a nice, wide pattern. They're visible from the side of the bike as well as the rear, which is exactly what I wanted. I was worried that the light from the LEDs would be bluish and have a weird color behind the amber turn signals of my bike, but no problems with that-- they shine a nice, vivid amber color and don't look weird at all. If you do this, you'll probably need a different flasher, otherwise the turn signals will blink at a much faster rate. I bought a solid state flasher which cured the "hyper blink" problem for me, though some people don't seem to mind it. So now my bike is visible from every direction and all the lights are nice and bright.

So Far so good.... but;
These lights are good 'n bright, have been mounted on a trailer. Problem with this request to "RATE" the product.... it's far too early to tell. A proper rating should be done after a month or 2 in service. NOT fresh out of the package. SO FAR.... so good is all that's cogent to report.

Fits and lights up!
Bulb fit in my boat trailer light housing with no issues. Worked as intended. The only negative is it seemed to not be quite as bright as the other incandescent bulb on the other side. No etheless, I am happy with the purchase.

These lights don't fit every 1157 socket
I purchased these lights for 1972 Ford Courier, which is nothing more than a re-badged Mazda 1600 pickup. These lights did not fit the 1157 socket in this Courier. I would have given them a one star rating, but then I tried them in an old 1969 Ford F250, and they fit well in that pickup, and light up nicely. So, as other people have commented, they don't fit everything, but they fit some vehicles. The difference seems to be that the Courier had a deep socket and the wide part just above the bulb wouldn't go down all the way. And the F250 has shallow sockets and therefore are not a problem. So I will be trying to source LED lights with a longer shank on them. To date all of the ones I have tried don't have a long enough shank or are narrow enough just above the bulb to work.

I ordered for 4 bulbs but received only 2 bulbs

The lower circuit board is too wide to allow fitment in the regular bayonet socket. I cannot use them. Please consider this for future manufacturing.

Worthless in a 24 volt application - burns out in smoke .
