Great chocolate syrup replacement. On its own it has a distinct artificial flavor but when it's mixed with something it is not as noticeable.

I wanted to get a low-cal syrup to put on ice cream for dessert. This tasted like motor oil. Don't recommend.

This is one of my favorite Walden Farms products and the first one that I tasted. Opening the bottle, I thought the sauce was going to be a watery mess. It doesn't have that dark shine that the Hershey's that you've been using all of your life possesses, but packs a surprising amount of flavor. I added a tablespoon to the top of a pancake and found the chocolate flavoring to be highly satisfying. It really does mimic its full bodied, Hershey's cousin. It is sweet and doesn't have an overpowering cocoa flavor that plagues most products like this. I have found the Walden Farms Chocolate Flavored Syrup to be a great alternative to sugary chocolate and will be a well used staple in my kitchen.

The product itself is fine, better than herseys sugar free syrup (which isn’t saying much) anyway. But they did not send me 2 bottles like the page says. It seemed to good to be true that they sell 1 bottle for 9.99 or two bottles for 9.49, and it turns out it is too good to be true because they sent only one bottle. This stuff is ok, but it’s not worth $10 for a single bottle. The page should be corrected so more people don’t get tricked like I did.

I have used this product for a few years in a specific Ideal Protein Recipe, so I knew exactly what I was getting. I am no longer able to get this product locally so I had to order it. If you have never tasted it, you might not like the taste on its own. It is calorie free so how much can you expect from "chocolate" syrup that is calorie free. It was an essential element in my specific recipe. They did a great job of packaging it, no breakage in a glass bottle.

There’s no way the positive reviews were for specifically the chocolate one. I didn’t expect it to be amazing but I’m leaving a review just to help someone else not waste their money. This is not just “heath food gross flavor” it’s literally not edible and smells wildly, massively, toxic. I use a few other products from Walden farms regularly when on RM3 and they’re fine, a decent option. But for the love of god do not buy this. The smell is toxic chemicals, and the flavor is what you’d imagine a dirty shoe would taste like. Who tests these before releasing them as a product for the public? They need to find another line of work 🙈 this is so so bad and no returns of course

The taste of this is just ok, but it is as thin as water. I won’t be purchasing again

I wrote a bad review on this chocolate flavor syrup but have since grown to like it. I tasted it out of the bottle but as I have used it on my diet egg loaf it is wonderful. Tastes like chocolate or close to it given that it is 0 calories. It is pretty darn good for diet chocolate syrup and certainly MUCH better than any fat free versions that you buy in the stores. I will order it again. Their maple syrup is excellent too. Not getting paid for this review. I just wanted to pass it along.
