POCUnisex's Tectal Race SPIN Cycling Helmet, Uranium Black/Hydrogen White, XL-XXL ( 59-62cm )

Been a big fan of POC products but never had the money to pay for RRP. Seen the POC tectal average for around £110 so this being the RACE SPIN version for an extra £10 it was a no brainer for me! Grabbed the size recommended by POC I'm a 53cm head so I went with the XS-S and it fits perfect! Nice & comfortable helmet also love how the straps don't need any attention they lined up perfect. Only downfall was the rear ratchet system could do with a bit fabric as it nipped my hair but I'm am down to bare blade hair style.

I’m a 55cm head and gambled on the small after reading other reviews. Glad I did - It fits perfectly and would probably fit most 56cm heads, too. Helmet sits low on the head, about 1cm above my eyebrows when it’s on its lowest setting. Changed the setting to its highest and it now sits around 2.5cm above the brows, which is perfect for me. You might have problems with some glasses playing well with this helmet, just because it really encompasses your head. I’m using Rudy Project Defenders, which match perfectly.Great, snug fitting helmet once set up.

Amazing helmet. Brought this for our lad, who is off on a school cycle holiday to France. Best fitting helmet that he has ever had. Super lightweight. Looks great on, as though it was designed for his head and is completely in proportion. Which you get don’t with must other helmets. Not the cheapest helmet in the world but so far is well worth the money spent.

A great helmet, perfect fit. I am 58CM and it fits perfectly with plenty of room for adjustment. It feels light when it is on your head and very comfortable. Nice amount of air flow.

Ordered this helmet twice but both returned, having followed meticulously the measuring instructions the first was far to small to the point where I could feel a pulse in my head and the next size up was huge even with tightener fully closed. I’m sure it’s a great helmet but be wary of sizing. I emailed POC in Sweden and they were very unhelpful. Ended paying £14 in return costs for 2 helmets that did not fit.

Bought this to replace my Giro Chronicle MIPS helmet that had served two years duty protecting my head and was beginning to look a little tatty. First impressions getting the POC out the box is that you can clearly see what puts this helmet in the higher price bracket. The finish of the helmet is fantastic with it's high gloss colour reaching right around and under the edges leaving very little EPS foam exposed.The fit of the helmet seems true to the measurements given, I have a 57cm size head so went for the M/L and it fits perfectly and is camparable to the size M Giro it is replacing. However to look at it it is quite obvious this helmet will suit oval shaped heads and people with rounder shaped heads which may find it a bit narrow. I knew prior to ordering my head was more oval shaped and this helmet really fits my head well.POC use their own 'SPIN' technology in this rather than MIPS to mitigate rotational injuries. The advantage to this over MIPS is that it the helmet pads themselves help the helmet to rotate on impact rather than having a separate lining. This makes the helmet feel much firmer fitting when on the head rather than the looser floating sensation when wearing a MIPS helmet.Ventilation is fantastic with almost double the number of vents across the front of the helmet than my previous one and the visor is really easy to position thanks to the metal hardware holding it to the helmet - again another quality touch which justifies this helmet's pricetag.Overall I am really pleased with this helmet and look forward to the next few years on the trails with it.

Alles wie beschrieben und kann ich weiterempfehlen. Ich finde vor allem den hohen Tragekomfort super.

Lo uso già da un po’ e posso dire, adesso, con estrema sicurezza che è un prodotto favoloso....testato per lo più in uscite di tre ore, posso tranquillamente dire che è talmente leggero che dimentichi di averlo; un po’ scomoda risulta solo L’ imbracatura laterale interna al casco che va a cozzare con le aste degli occhiali, ma tutto sommato trovata la giusta posizione con un po’ di pratica si risolve anche questo problema. Per il resto merita tutte le 5 stelle.
