I wouldn't call it maroon. It's more of a pinkish red. Other than that I am pleased.

For the price this is great. I forgot what color my dash is and ordered the wrong color, but my husband said he was happy with it and not to worry about switching it. I love that we can protect the dash of our 1986 Chevy suburban now. It has zero cracks and now we can keep it that way with protecting it from the sun.
