Solid and secure
This junction box made rewiring the trailer so much easier. I was able to add in a few auxiliary lines with out having to add extra splices. Spacious but still fit on the frame rails.

Received quickly, adaptable to almost any location
Great price, came with all fasteners and hole cover inserts. Made substantially. Looks like it will last.

Makes life much easier
This works perfect. Makes wiring up a trailer much easier and looks much cleaner than just wiring and wrapping with a black plastic shielding. It’s small enough to be mounted inside of the tongue on a normal trailer. Also works well because it’s able to be used for trailer brakes.

Good product, will purchase again.
I’ve rebuilt several trailers, and have always preferred wiring in a 7 way box to ease with trailer cord replacement, adding lights and accessories or troubleshooting down the road. These are some of better boxes available, not top of the line like Haldex or Midland, but for the price you can’t go wrong. Like being able to secure cords with the clamps, just don’t over tighten as they’ll break the straps.

Great product, cheap nuts and case
The product is great, easy to install yourself, but the screws for the mounting aren't that great. the box itself is plasticy and might need a tiny bit of silicon to help seal it if you install it on the outside of the trailer. I will replace the mounting screws with actual bolts. other than that super fast and easy ! comes with color coded photo

Nice, durable trailer junction box. Needs better nuts on the studs.
This is a nice box, with thicker and stronger walls than most others. They used a nice material for this box that seems to be more durable than most of the other trailer junction boxes I have worked with. This makes it an excellent value. However, the nuts included on the studs are not stainless and do not have nylon inserts. So I bought some #10-32 stainless nylon insert lock nuts (REMEMBER: ALWAYS use a waterproof lubricant on stainless steel fasteners, such as SuperLube) to use in this box, along with stainless steel flat washers. If I remember correctly, this box was made in Taiwan, not the slavery/tyranny state of China, so that is also good. Be aware, none of the boxes like this are waterproof, but reasonably weather resistant. Just make sure you leave a small opening on the down-facing side so any water that gets inside can easily drain out. Also, there was a plastic coated paper label for the terminals included, but it was not self-adhesive. So I used some clear "Goop" glue to attach it inside the box and covered the label with more of the same glue to make it waterproof.

This is what you need!
This is hands down the best way to wire a trailer, or replace a worn or damaged connector. Forget about putting a replacement connector end on your old wire, this is just a little bit more money and the molded end will survive being dragged on the ground when you forget to plug it in, will survive being run over or pulled out by yanking on the wire out of frustration because you didn't mount the plug on your truck where you should have and you have to crawl underneath in the mud to disconnect it.Bottom line, this is the way to go. Excellent value, the junction box has plenty of room and options for cable routing and mounting, it's water proof (if you trim the included grommets carefully, if not it's ok too, as it comes with extras) it's color coded for most normal installs (and the plug whip) and makes trouble shooting childs play when you loose a tail light or marker light.Just do it. I keep these in stock at my shop and it's the only thing I will ever put on a trailer, or repair a trailer with ever again.Every trailer I have ever put one of these on, is still in use, still working, and has endured severe use since installed. Some in excess of 3 years now.
