I really liked these Ancient Living soaps because they feel clean and simple — no strong perfume or chemicals. The Kasturi Turmeric one gives a nice natural brightness, Multani Mitti feels cooling and smooth on the skin, and the Tulasi bar gives a very fresh, clean bath experience. Since they’re handmade with cold-pressed oils, the skin doesn’t feel dry after use. Just soft and refreshed. Perfect for everyday bathing, especially if you prefer pure, natural body care.

I was searching for natural soaps. I have gone through a lot of Indian soaps and all have the same problem. They are not being cured properly. I stumbled on this again I saw that I had purchased it in 2021. Then I remembered this soap was bad. The soap seems to be made from natural ingredients there are no chemicals in it. But the soap has not been saponified. Lye used mixed with the oils and there should be no residue. After making saop it has to be cured for a month or more. Some brands of Olive oil castille soap from France and Turkey are cured for upto 6 months. This is to cure any leftover Lye. If it is not cured properly or if the oils are not saponified the lye can damage skin. Lye is very high in PH and our skin ideal PH is 4 and should not go above 6. If your skin PH goes above 6 you will have body odour as bad bacteria will take host and if it goes above 6.5 and 7 PH flesh eating bacteria will take host. I have seen the skin crack when I used this soap. Fortunately I know about this so I immediately rinsed my body with apple cider vinegar and then had to have bath with Sunni Pindi a herbal bath powder with gram flour. This lowers the PH and the Gram flour is prebiotic food for the good bacteria on our skin. This is really dangerous. And I don't want to single out this brand. Unfortunately 3 other brands from amazon also have the same problem They are also completely natural But I think they don't check the PH of the soap or have not testing for lye of any quality control after the soap is manufactured.

I really enjoyed using the Ancient Living organic soaps. Each one has its own purpose and feels very pure. The Kasturi Turmeric soap gives a natural brightness to the skin, the Multani Mitti one feels cooling and helps keep the skin firm, and the Tulasi soap gives a deep, refreshing cleanse especially after a long day. Since these are handmade with cold-pressed oils, they don’t dry out the skin at all. The fragrances are mild, earthy, and natural, nothing artificial. Leaves the skin clean, soft, and nourished.
